Yeah, I linked his Wiki page up top Jones...writers can't read or what?
Speaking of which, I saw someone else got arrested for peeing on the Alamo...
Nah, I was at work and only had a couple of minutes so I winged it from memory. I have plenty of time to read it now that I'm home... but I'm not going to. ;)
Monday is my birthday. Hockey playoffs have done nothing but anger me so far. I got my Fables: Legends in Exile comic in the mail today. I can't decide whether to play Halo in the site wide or watch hockey tonight.
TGIF folks, didn't think I could make it through the week but I did. Hope you all stay strong and survive to fight another day no matter what battle it is. :)
Huh, been another day dedicated to Hospitals, eight hours in total for a grand 20 mins or so of actual face to face with various people. Still Mrs Knights fractures are knitting well, and a cancelation has moved her nerve tests up to next month, much better and back in the ideal window of time...if towards the end. The surgeon has decided to increase physio to three times a week...while a good thing, that is extra pressure in finances, but has to be done. But he was quite positive on one hand, but expecting more improvement in movement and the straitening of the arm, but also concerned in some respects in the lack of improvement, hence the increased physio. But at least herself is now in a more positive frame of mind, and that is key to healing.
My MRI on my back was approved today. I guess an EMG showing nerve damage got "their" attention. Less then 48 hours to get approved vs 2 weeks to be denied first time and they scheduled it for 10AM next day.
LOL, good news on the MRI, it's quite an experience much noisier than the TV would lead us to beleve, when I had mine the jack hammer sound effects took me quite by surprise.
I've had two MRIs of my head. Both times I freaked the fuck out and afterwards said "I TOLD you I should be sedated for this shit!" I'm seriously claustrophobic. The one of my chest wasn't too bad because my head was "free"...but I did freak out a little, knowing I couldn't just jump and run if I needed to.
@ Knight in my head, I start thinking "what if there was an emergency? A fire, etc. and I'm in here, trapped in this machine and can't just run away to safety!" And then I decide there's not enough oxygen and I am suffocating...
YAY! It's my birthday y'all!! Woohoo! *does little dance* *pulls muscle*
Happy Birthday Kit, hope you have a lovely day. Yes Phobias was a Greek who had a fear of MRI scanners, do you know nothing Oldschool. The story stands out because he feared something that had not even been invented. A sorry story who's moral escapes me.
Making hubby take me (and my mom) to dinner at a place he doesn't like anymore. I love the place and never get to go, because he had a slightly over cooked steak once *eye roll*.
Well yesterdays job was interesting, as in it was cancelled but no one thought to tell us. They will of course still get billed but I didn't go to another event I would really like to have been at in order to be ready for this one...Ah well I only missed seeing friends from all over the world gathered together for a one off occation, so no big deal Grrrrrrr
I thought Marion Berry was the Mayor of DC, but picked up a crack habit at some point.
Yep, and he has been on the City Council ever since he got out of jail. Only in D.C.!!

That's pretty much all my news...

Shhh, I'm sleeping in today...
I would have thought at your age you wouldn't be wasting even 1 minute of the day.
Love ya Free! We played UT Dedication last night. The new people liked it. I miss playing halo with you. :(
Good Friday. mostly everything is closed around here.
Here too,
I just crawled out of bed...it's 1 pm here. Hope I didn't miss lunch.

Not much need to jump and run in that circumstance...but I guess rational thought is not really a function of phobias
Phobias? Was he greek?
Long ago I had an open MRI on my neck. This one wasn't and I can see how it would be one of a claustraphobics' worst nightmares. i almost fell asleep.
Wakes up to another holiday. Ho hum.
Don't let us keep you from your beauty sleep.
