Sorry Parcells that Suki is tough to drive. oversteer one turn understeer the next time thought the same corner. It will try and kill you at every opportunity. The moment you think you have it....it will bite you in the ass, just like a bike.

Keep Hangin' in there Jimmy...You will learn to love it!
Jimmy...A Disclaimer...I have always ran this car with Racing Soft Tires...Maybe we can talk Mr. Parcells into allowing the use of them...I believe it makes a BIG Difference..
You could try convincing me to go race soft but I’d save your breath as I don’t see it happening. On Saturday I drove it with the sport medium tires they’re using in the snail race and was wondering if we should use them or go back to the default sport hard? I just can’t see going above sport medium as its not needed.
I’ve noticed Jimmie you’ve been showing up in time for the spec cars each week so because of your documented aversion to the GSX I was going to run it first out of the gate (at 7:00) to save you from having to run it once again. But if you do show up earlier than normal to run the car I think this means you’re really in love with the car but insist on bashing it in these forums for some sick and twisted reasoning no doubt? :)
I’ve seen one in favor of putting an oil change on all our cars but no other feedback on this matter so by tomorrow night I will confirm whether we go with this or not which means you have another 30 hours or so to share your thought’s else we will be going with an oil change on everything.
Any objections to me running something close spec-wise if I drop in?
Sadly I'm fairly certain I don't have the funds to purchase listed parts...nevermind the car itself. It's been far too long since the PS3 has been fired up for gaming....
Any objections to me running something close spec-wise if I drop in?
Possible there could be but it's Parcells room hence Parcells rules :) and I don't have a problem with it so be nice to see you again Sir....if you're too far ahead or behind you can adjust until it gets you closer its not a big deal.
Damn PD still not allowing gifted cars. We could have you and Jason fixed up in no time.
The people have spoken or is it the people have mostly remained silent? Doesn't matter the end result is the same being no one has convinced me to not move forward with the plan to install an oil change on EVERY Thursday night car so that is what we are doing starting with tomorrow’s races.
The question remains just how many people are going to be caught off guard with this change tomorrow and inevitably ask…”when did this happen?”. I email half the regular’s on Thursday evening’s ongoings because I know they do not read the forums but half the time I feel like I’m updating myself with posts yet people still show up so I’ll just keep plugging along.
Looking forward to some more awesome battles so keep it clean everyone and don't upset Parcells especially on lap one it can be very nerve wracking.
We caught very few people (if any) off guard with the oil change rule so that was fairly immpressive no?
Spreadsheet updated with this week's spec car, the totally stock Renault Sport Clio Rs - 11. I didn't update the tires because we're going stock which is comfort soft I believe. This is a pretty slow car so the racing should be tight.
non spec car will be the Mazda Roadster touring car that we didn't get to last week.
Some great races last night fellas. We'll retread the Fairlady next week I guess. If you have some track preferences let me know, was leaning towards some F1 tracks but definitely Suzuka.
Will update the spreadsheet Monday night probably.
Monday night Wednesday night lets not split hairs I was half right.
No surprises anyway, reusing the same Fairlady Z (Z34) - 08 as a couple months back except with an oil change of course. This car has optional aero and wheels plus numerous upgrades. Spreadsheet has been updated.
non-spec car will be another re-used car the Amuse S2000 R1 - 04 from back in January with, you guessed it, an oil change.
Big-ass download (similar to recent big one) for those not in the know.
Spring showed up in Nova Scotia last week caught Parcells by surprise.
Is that because I fucked up on the last lap handing you the victory??? Agreed, great race and some others as well, hope you can start making it more regularly. With the exception of Grimm, we all should be ashamed of what we did on Cape Ring Peripheral…Parcells out front with a big lead half way through lap one (started on front so that helps) then a big fuck up all on my own putting me at the back of the pack, race almost over until everyone in the room (sans Grimm) managed to fuck up as badly as I did allowing me to scrap back into second position turned out more fun than I figured it would.
It was a total fuck up initially Jimmie, didn’t start our first race until one hour in as EVERYONE was having issues seeing others and in the end everyone one of us had to restart our systems (me included) before everything was fine but that 1.08 update wasn’t very kind initially.
Since we didn’t run the spec car we will push it out for next week.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been pretty busy for the past couple of weeks - first the Indy 500 and then this weekend the SCVA vintage race car series is in town. Here's some pics I took at both events if any one is interested. The full galleries on on my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/56599654@N08/sets/
Spreadsheet updated with this weks spec car which involved updating the name of last week's spreadsheet to this thursday as we will run the Fairlady we did not end up running last week.
The non-spec car will be the Mini Coooper S - 2011. Don't forget your oil changes. Be there or be square.
What Jimmie said, YES on the oil change. EVERY car we run on Thursday's will include an oil change (including the non-spec cars) so we can rerun cars and everyone will be at the same HP/PP regardless of how often (or not) they run the car outside of Thursday evening.
I'll dbl chceck when I get on Grimm but that wont be until closer to 7:00...seems way off so did you get the weight reduction and 3x engine upgrade plus just about every other upgrade? No doubt you did so maybe I've been drinking tooo much setting up the spreadsheet? Whatever, we'll get it straightened away....correct car?
The stage three engine upgrade is not hightlighted so I didnt do it (I did the stage three weight reduction though). If that is the case, then the HP numbers are way off
Not sure what to make of this (recheck right car maybe?) but I have the spreadsheet correct....no engine upgrades but did you add aero?....the ONE car we've added aero to since GT5 maybe that's the difference?
In any case we'll figure this bastard out! Guess its almost race time have my mini all set

One more week of me being a no show. Family is coming in town. Hopefully see you guys next week.

not going to make it early, got some things I got to get done some things at the house.
Fun stuff last nite fellas. Great racing! Heck of a race at Grand Valley Parcells!

Great pictures Indy. What camera and lens were you using?
Thanks! Nikkon D3100 with a 200mm lens. I was standing about 30-feet from the edge of the track for most of the pics.
Yes, awesome pics! So where's the link to the spreadsheet which has the build and tune for the fairlady?
You'll need to navigate to the far left tab for the right car...each tab is dated/named the night we race it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuusG70QY01ldEVsVTVEeHJlRjd...
Yea found it Parcells. The fairlady I built to ss only comes up to 509pp 410 hp.?? Is there an oil change?
yep, oil change
What Jimmie said, YES on the oil change. EVERY car we run on Thursday's will include an oil change (including the non-spec cars) so we can rerun cars and everyone will be at the same HP/PP regardless of how often (or not) they run the car outside of Thursday evening.
Can someone verify the PP on the Fairlady? The sheet indicates 541PP however I only get to 516PP (with oil change). Am I missing something?
I'll dbl chceck when I get on Grimm but that wont be until closer to 7:00...seems way off so did you get the weight reduction and 3x engine upgrade plus just about every other upgrade?
