@brntguy - how can we get a GT6 replay over to you. There was one great race in last night's session where the gap between 1st and 7th was less than 0.9 secs and between 1st & 2nd was .016 I think.
Would be great to try and get a video made of that particular race.
I would love to see that replay!! That was one epic race. It's pretty impressive how we raced that closely lap after lap and no one got wrecked! We were 4- and 5-wide going down the front-stretch into the first turn!

I mentioned last week that I will be racing a shortened version this coming Thursday as I'm heading to Florida real early on Friday but the more I think about it I don't see that happening. After work on Thursday I need to get a haircut, do a load of wash, pack, eat and get to bed at a decent time.
It seems my NY Giants are playing on Thursday as well and since I cannot stay up till the game is over I would like to watch some of the first half so I'm pretty sure I'll be out this week and back on October 9.

Unfortunately to report my PS3 finally bricked over the weekend. Been a long run....(7 some odd years). I'll let you guys know when I'm back online again.
Yea my launch console finally gave it up too not too long ago. I debated on whether to go next gen or replace the ps3. Turned out to be a great decision to get a new 250gb ps3 and not next gen. The new unit works much better than the old and the bluetooth on it works worlds better too.
Yeah, my 7 1/2 year old launch fat 60 GB PS3 gave it up a few months back and I am so glad I replaced it with a new PS3, no only for GT6, but also because I am still working my way through The Last of Us.
Are the hard drives swappable between the old and new units?
I've been looking at the new 250g as well, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Not really ready to shell out $500+ for a PS4 yet at this time. Besides, I still need to get through GT6 & GTA5.
Still recovering from vacation so this week we will be racing but will use the one-make vehicles and just pick whatever tracks we want. Rest assured the Quattro Pikes Peak car will be a chosen vehicle.

Yes, that was great racing last night except for losing the car sound.
Losing the car sound seems to be an ongoing problem with the latest update. GTP racers have been experiencing this quite often now.
