I need to qualify new people amongst you guys and a way of doing that mid series :)
Good answer Tourni, you're like one of those smart guys aren't ya? Was going to ask, "what the hell am I qualifying for then?" but you do need your baseline times don't you. Parcells will give it his best shot on Saturday, you can count on me. Maybe even give Fitzy a reason to qualify a second or third time. Or not, it don't really matter much now does it.
If there's anything I can do to help out that will garner me some extra competition points you let me know, I got it covered buddy, don't you worry!
Without a doubt this is the most impossible to task to achieve, to find a qualification system, race system and points scoring system that is perfect.
If everyone turned up each week and for every division i could then just say here is your rooms go win them. Then promote people like football teams. OR have a 60 car room and then have a race qualify session.. :(

Someone is a little over confident in my abilities. Although I was actually beating up on Fitzy Sunday.....right up until typical Chrysler quality (electrical failure) took me out of the running.
Faced with a dilemma. RWD preference, general hate of front wheel drive. 10 laps in the camaro and 4 laps in the mini solved it. The camero is fun but it just lacks any of the precision I enjoy driving. So the FWD it is.
The devils choice for me. So here is the paint and I am unapologetic about the unrestrained use of flames.
Divisions still stand as it works the same really, just qualification is over extended period and in one car. I'm thinking of giving parcells and fitzy their own division haha :D

Thanks man...yeah I guess it will pan out okay, I just expect alot of myself, that old perfectionist thing...keeps me awake at nights. Daft because I know I have plenty of time to get where I want to be tis just a short time since I started after all, but I also am a one for instant gratification LOL the two desires are mutually exclusive and will send me nuts in the end
Ho ho, just put down a 1:36:599 on silverstone In that little green mini, and there is a little more to find, hairpin and last three corners still not right. But I think that is my best opening shot yet. Okay Aliens prove me wrong It's my last blast at anything till I get back so I hope it is within a couple of seconds of the top runners, or I have a lot to do when I get back. Qualifying in that beemer I have done with, cannot get under 1:51:400 Will try again on my return but think if I can get under 52 for quali then I'll be happy.

You will be fine knight, patience is the key with this car. 50 - 52 is quick, that is where most of the battles are going ot be in quali.

Oh i wouldn't worry about that - I lost the battle with sanity along time ago.
When you do finally loose that battle, you are well on the road to becomming "alien" driver haha.
A tip for most is to settle the car mid turn - roll off the throttle at the right points and you'll be suprised how different the car is :)
