We qualified for the playoffs but lost in the first round. :( We were missing a couple of our best players and the best of 5 series went all 5 games. Lost by 6 or 7 kills in the final game. All the games were close and exciting. Oh well, there's always next season (which starts in about a month).
The gameplay is good. The commentary, not so much.
I've heard some bad commentary in my time, but this is just sad.
I mean, they are acting like jumping on a mongoose to reach a ledge is some kind of game changing innovation. o_O
Also, I'm not sure if these people know this but BTB has been around for a Halo game or two, so I would venture to guess we are familiar with how it works...lol They are acting like the BTB playlist is brand new and people will have never seen this gametype before.
Whatever...
I'm glad the "pros" are taking an interest in something other than MLG.

I'm taking the commentary as a bit of an information exercise for MLG Pros and those who only watch Pro videos.
I suspect they are trying to illustrate the differences between MLG Pro Halo and BTB. I know it rings a little weird because who doesn't know this stuff?
I doubt if it is really necessary but maybe BTB.net is trying to capture more interest in BTB as a viable entertainment product. I'm all for it. That's where better population numbers are so it makes sense.
Maybe this is the beginning to what will eventually be an interesting Halo 4 entertainment product in 2013.
The commentary was pretty bad. I could also only watch it for about 4-5 min. It would of been nice to hear them talk about set ups, what it takes to be a competitive BTB team and how you would go about joining a team(they may have said these things but I left). Getting all pumped up about jumping onto a mongoose made me feel like they where talking to people who have never played this game before.

While the commentary was pretty bad, you have to remember that the viewing audience for this film is mainly for the hypercompetetive mlg crowd, which rarely venture to any playlist outside mlg, slayer, and arena.
Laser, how does MT do in btb.net league. I know MT and OcR where aways really good at btb in Halo3.

I lasted three minutes.
I lasted two.
