I talked to ziggy last nite and he said if time allows he will help with the tunes....he's currently suffering from the ever contagious lack of forza interest that's going around :). I'll try my best to help when I can....I have a month of for vacation and with steams 50% off sale with race 07 and expansion packs I've been glued to that of late but ill do my best msg me with car details :)
Thanks Kurupt !! Got a pm from Sarcasmo this am also. Thanks to Ziggy as well !! I'll get the info together and send it out to you guys. There is plenty of time since series runs over about 3 months and doesn't start for a few weeks. Appreciate the help guys. Guess I'm one of the few who hasn't had any real issues/problems w/Forza. I'm still finding challenges and having fun when I play. It's all I got as I can't afford to or have the tech skills to build a pc and move to pc racing and I'm not a true gamer with other gaming interests. Anyway I am grateful for the help I receive. Thanks !!!
@ surf I sent u the vw r its just a base tune still needs a bit of work...hold s its own at tskuba and Infineon I ran just a few laps it has about another sec. In it if I can tune the rest of the understeer out....try it out tell me what u think....if its too loose I can tighten it up

Cool....can't wait to get homefrom work and try it out. Thanks !
Build is to spec, are u saying the tune is fixed and can't be adjusted? Cause a fixed tuned would just benifit the tuner forcing those to figure out how to drive there way. With a fixed build\tune I would suggest using only sport parts with no available tuning except tire pressure so it even across the entire playing field....my .02
Cheers
U could have saved me an hr and told me to read 1.1.2 (a) if thats what u were getting at :)
Not starting a war, or saying a is better than b I fully understandand obey the rules, but for future locked tune races would what I stated above not make more cents, and accomadate everyone fairly?
Cause if driver x doesn't have the same driving style as builder x a car can become very frustrating to drive especially if the builder is in race and half a lap ahead doesn't do much for your driving confidence. It might help get more guys into our league races and eliminates tuning so people don't get discouraged :)
Cheers
The tune is tested amongst others as is far from my liking, I have aggressive lift off oversteer in my cars. Anyone who has driven a BTCC tune of mine in previous seasons will know. So the benifit is minimal. It is obvious from telemetry to see which cars aren't running the same tune, since I know how to work out 95% of the settings a car has from hotlapping days.
People doing that will be reported to Cotter.
Also some people cant tune, so it levels the playing field for those guys that cant or don't even have time too.
Smile Kurupt.....I'm pretty sure there is just misunderstanding here. I was trying to clarify in the backgound w/o posting in the public thread.
It has to be the build that's fixed. There is no way to police the tune in a lobby. It's to easy to buy the locked tune, remove the parts and reinstall. Who's gonna know which tune you're running. Unless the build gets changed as you say to non-tuneable parts I'm pretty sure we're OK. I've been tied up in races last few nights. You gonna be on tonight? What time zone are you in?...lol I'm old and can't remember. I was hoping to run some laps with ya if it's not to late.
My bad it just sounded like we weren't allowed to adjust the tune and was just clarifying .
@ Tourni I understand and appreciate the hard work u have done putting these together, and your point exactly about guys not being able tune that's why I made the point about having non adjustable parts for fixed tune races. :)
its no problem - The subaru and evo are both fixed parts, as were alot of the cars in the EUSL 2 - Big mistake, the cars became upredictable when raced hard.
Anyway the series is built around different things, hence the VW is totally fixed, the others are specs and the 370z is totally open. Everyone gets a chance for gold then and i welcome garage sponsored race enteries.
Kool I wasn't pointing my figure at your league, it was just a suggestion for all the leagues in general...I only suggested it because some of the best race battles i have had with guys here have been in fix build non adjustable tunes. And for open tunes is where the tuners really get an advantage over the non tuners. :)
The best one I picked up from u was have a 20 sec delay for the fast guys, awesome coming down to the final lap competing with guys u usually don't at that point of a race +1!
I know, just didn't want people to think its biased.
I do it so people who want to learn how to drive can learn easier, they are using the same car and can watch replays of any one faster and see how its done. In the EuSL you see a noticible improvement in peoples driving through the series. That is my reward :)
Holy crap !!!! This went off track real quick....sometimes I have a LOVE/HATE thing with web communications... I'm always a step behind....and then shit gets way over my head....I left work thinking I'd pm Tourni when I got home...15 min later....and now I'm lost. Here's the deal.
I Totally missed the boat on this. I obviously didn't read everything correctly, and totally misunderstood the tune / build thing. I had no idea how much you youngsters can do with this game. I don't fathom the amounts of data that some of you compile , but I do appreciate the time you guys spend putting together cars that I love to drive. But that is not what I do with this game. I can't tune at all...period. Don't have enough time to paint....not really any good at it either....results don't reflect time spent if you get my drift. ...starting to stray.
Here's the story.....I saw post about EUSL4...i haven't raced with my UK friends since F4 came out...so I decided to make a point of running the series. Then I thought what a good idea it would be to ask my club members who paint and tune! to fix up the cars for me....for fredits of course. Hoping to represent the guys in my club etc...Ready to brag it up bit....have some fun with the UK guys...that's it really....Then the shit hit the fan. I had no idea how technical you can get with the game. I never turn that screen up....just jibberish to me.
Sorry for the confusion all.. I bought the fixed tune. So I 'm good for the race.

Quit trying to cheat, you bastard...they're going to tell on you!
Haha Surf! You'll be fine. Without even looking at the grid, I bet you're top 3rd, even with the HLR guys. And I'm more confident you'll be right in the middle of all the fun.
Tuning is a mystery to me. I can get passable, even good, but I am still struggling with what I would call the fine tuning aspect of the finished car.
And I find it much easier to rely on guys who know what they're doing. Time/result thing as well for me.
As for Tourni's race series tunes, they may be leaning aids, but they can be a pain to get a grip on at times.
Thanks oldschool !!! appreciate it !! For me it was mostly about promoting D2NR and having fun. In FM3 Tournis tunes were my favorites. In FM4 Kurupt's & Jonesy's top the list for me. They are just easier for me to drive....even when the builds are exactly the same. I'll find out if the Roadsters can be tuned or not and hopefully have another opportunity.
After months of flying under the radar my SF has finally been hit by the haters. I guess a good thing can't last forever...it's probably Jamison's fault somehow.
Well, I've been supporting the cause! Your S/F's a great source for drivable cars not often run. I think download numbers say more than the rating itself but I do understand the frustration about the hateraters...
Hey guys I will be officially retiring from forza and xbox in general in the coming days. I've lost all interest and faith in forza and have decided to sell my xbox crap before it turns into a worthless paperweight and put the cash towards more pc sim toys :)
I wanna thnx all the great guys I got to race with over the yrs! I learnt alot about racing and tuning from here :)
So what about DirtT tuned?
DirtT lives on and the big plan is to expand to pc which ill be working on setting up, and we will have a thread at 202R if and when it starts up, fisho and m3 rocket will be club leaders for xbox and will continue pumping out our Ez handling tunes and rivals events.
I'll still POP in from time to time to say hi through in my .02 and cause some shit lol
If anyone is running project cars or race 07 feel free to add me to run some laps
Gt @ wmd & steam: Kurupt CDN
Cheers guys :)

: ( Sorry to hear you're leaving...have always loved your tunes. Good luck in PCland !! Been a pleasure to run your stuff and race with you. !!! Hope to run into you again if you ever Forza again. Thanks for the hospitality in D2NR !!!!
@Surf--have you heard from anybody yet?
Not yet..but I'm patient...it is the weekend after all....if everyone's like me they got plenty of honey do's before they get to play ; )
Since the weather is perfect up here for a change.... I know I'm gonna play a couple rounds of disc golf too.

Just a quick heads up.
