Much fun was had. Up to 16 player for 2 hours. More new maps were fielded and they were quite good for the most part. I even heard party members 13 to 16 were chatting so it wasn't dead silence for them.
That Halvalla map really feels like Valhalla to me.
Tried out the new Assault. Old people are easily confused. lol
Tried out Live Chat with numbers greater than 12. Quite the welcome relief. Now friends can join knowing they can fully interact with everyone playing.
I heard DEEP said there would be custom reign poll-dancing. Unclear on who is involved in that? I seem to remember a scene from 'flashdance', but i don't think that is what he has in store.
I'm guessing Midnite Aurora wasn't playing or she would have won hands down. Or is she considered "professional class" and therefore ineligible to compete with the amateurs?

Tuesday night Halo 5 over-50 (-ish) is still running strong! I think we maxed out at 14. Tried my hand at hosting and had a lot of fun (but you make it look easy, Deep! Looking forward to your return next week!).
Sorry to hear that, Deep, especially since it wasn't so long ago you were having to clear out your father-in-law's house, as I recall. We each get our turn at the hard times. Hope a nursing home spot opens soon. We'll mind the store in the meantime!

The past two weeks were well attended to at least 12 members at a time. Live tried to keep some of us from playing but we prevailed.
We learned players with bad connections should not carry the objective as they are quite difficult to kill.
Hopefully the Bomb gametypes will be available for next week.

We had a full party of 16 for nearly two hours. Lots of good games and fun.
Not sure what our max was but we sure had fun. Played on Addicted's Destiny remake and UT dedication.
An all over age 50 group of 12 wrung the best out of Halo 5 this week. Custom maps continue to reign in the polls.

We had a rip-roaring time with a group of 14 last night. Sports and politics could be heard in the background.
More saucy banter and lots of fun over the last two weeks. 14 or more in the party.
Wheezin found a cool Tanks game. We tried out Infection (oh well).

After whittling it back to 16 we were able to progress. Another good evening of head banging.
FYI, this group still seems to be going strong. Lots of fun being had.
That being said, I am no longer dedicating my time to this event. I will instead be spending more time in Destiny. At least for awhile.
It is my sincere hope my old Halo buddies carry on in one game or another. I sure would like to drop in from time to time.
