Yeah that is what I'm being, look at my time... Maybe its my wheel settings I just don't know. But every time I try to push a little more I'm swapping ends. I can't brake later or I go straight on, I cant accelerate out the corner any sooner or I spin and trust me I am feeding throttle in very gently... just seem to have hit the wall on this one.

You sure your in the right thread? if you are it's the S class Viper SRT10 ACR on road america
Hmm closer now I'm in the right car, but still a way off the pace, managed a dirty high 2:16 but low 14's? and there is no doubt Pap is going to be in the 13's. Still I should be holding my own down at the lower end and that is way better than it was looking yesterday...
Ah Paps. What you do in 4 laps will take me at least another 20 on top of the 15 I have already done. If you have tuned it would you mind firing a copy over. I have, and it seems well behaved but always keen to try one from a maestro :)
50/50 whether I'll make though. Down at the old folks place in the south west and won't know if it's open nat until I get there.
Even if I do make it I'll be using my madcatz mc12 back up so will be well off the pace.
Cheers

Me to, me to, me to. Mr Pap wave magic wand make horseless carrage go good for poor Knight
I am so looking forward to this, it will be my first event and I can honestley say I am very nervous about it, I do so hope I don't mess it up for others, I think truthfully my stratergy is going to be take it easy for the first few laps till i get into it, then maybe I can start to push on a bit, I really dont want to stuff it up someones rear end on the first lap, I will be using this event to gain valuable experience to hopefully enable me to start to mix it with you guys in futer events. I will be doing a couple of hours practise before hand to get me into a rythm,
off to say a prayer now to the tyre gods to keep me on the black stuff

There's nothing too it Shadders, we were all learning at one point. The trick is to be proactive on your approach to other drivers, when your sat up their ass you cant see the road ahead. So move out have a look, sight the braking point and then add a car length to it. This is roughly where you'll brake, as you close in to the corners give yourself some space by lifting the throttle a little. If they brake early you can move out and over take them. If they dont, you have your brake point sighted and your well prepared for it.
LOL Shadders I so understand what you are feeling. I was a bag of nerves through my first few races. Just you wait till the end of your first race, all you'll want to do is get out and do it again.
