To be honest there's not a lot that even needs tuning on this car. It's pretty solid right off the showroom floor. One of my fav's.
Paps' your tune did make a difference for me. Mother of a hangover but managed a clean 2:15.5. Having connection issues at my folks, but nat is open. May make it.
Well had a hour of practise and I can't seem to get much improvement, best time so far 2:17.605, a good 2.13 seconds of Poidsly's time and a whole second of the rest of the pack, oh well see what the race brings but not holding out any hopes
Heh Shadder a couple of seconds of the front runners is a good time for a rookie, I am happy if I am sitting a coule of seconds off the front. Racing and hot lapping are also two different things. If I get 2:16xx in qualifying I will be surprised and unless I am out on my own I doubt I'll hit it in the race.
My advice for qualifying is this, lap 2 and 3 get in a banker, a steady time 2:17 2:18, sometimes the faster drivers cock up and dont get one clean lap, so if you have one however slow that gains you sometimes a couple of places. Lap 4 start to push, just a little to get your time up to close to your best, last lap give it your all...your never know sometimes it comes off and you get a great time.
thats some great advise, and yes I think I am putting to much emphasis on my lap times, just get a couple of clean quali laps and go from there,
man this is exciting, I'm like a kid at christmas, but more nervous, I could do with a stiff drink, Hmm maybe after the race would be best, think I will need it by then LOL

The joys of your first real race. You will be ok and try not to panic to much
Not holding out much hope for this one, can't seem to get consistant laps. Just when I am on a good lap I manage to cock it up by pushing to hard. I have a feeling myself and Knight might be fighting this one out.

Exactly the same, I have at least two corners that I just mess up time and time again or take so conservatively a bicycle could pass me. Just sitting here waiting for some crap about vampire teenagers to finish then I'm hitting the track.
Shadders it's amazing isn't it, who would have thought a game could suddenly become so intence...it is what hooked me totally.
Thanks for waiting guys I really appreciate it. Forth from starting last is a real testament to consistency, I held my time lap after lap in the low 2:17's and that saw me right in the end. Shame I going to miss next week but I will be back the following weekend, with little time to practice for that one it's going to be a very different race for Knight. Well done Shadders first race under your belt. Good luck next week mate and remember, this week you were not last... a couple of drivers didn't make it to the end so you finished in front of them
Good race guys, just wish my bloody wheel would stop disconecting! Next week I'll try to relocate my modem, maybe that is causing interference.
Shadders, like I said in the race: You're not far of the pace, it took me quite some time to catch up to you. From what I saw when I was behind you, try and make your turn in a bit later. In general you are to far on the inside to soon, try to focus on that and it should gain you some time.
Thanks guys, I enjoyed that, and thanks for the encouragement, I made a few school boy errors early on which cost me places, once I got into my rythm was doing decent laps times, for me anyway, and began closing in on the guys in front, but tried to hard and ran wide again, doh! maintaind a gap of 600 to 700 metres for the rest of the race, so I know I was laping as fast as the three in front of me, lucky for me 3 retirements which boosted my points a bit, commiserations to those that didn't finish, but I'm kind of glad you didn't. LOL all in all I am happy with my first race, and cannot wait till next week.
Not a race to remember, put Gizzie into the wall( sorry Gizzie I was stupid) then Helios disconnected so I was running on my own. With a couple of laps left decided to try for a quick time and encountered a wall, ah well that's what happens when you get bored.
Yeah, that kinda sucked. Actually took half hour or so to throw a paint on the car, ran a couple practice laps to get a feel for the car, then joined the room. I actually finished 4th in the warm up session , and had high hope for qually. That ended up being in vain as I was a full second off the pace I had set in the session earlier, but still 6th wasn't too bad w/ this crowd. Bid my time early on, waiting for cars to get spaced out a bit. Worked my way up to a battle w/ Gizzie & Fitzy. The 3 of us were going at it for a lap and a half or so before the excitement started. By the time the dust settled I found myself in 4th, in front of both of them and tried settling into a groove to make it to the end. Then just past half way I find myself driving in a room all by my lonesome after getting booted. Hopped back in to watch for a couple laps before shutting it down and starting up Dirt3.
In a little deja vu, I also wrecked out just past the halfway point in a 2 hour Nurburgring Enduro (rFactor) driving a......wait for it, wait for it.....Zakspeed Viper GTS-R.
The cars must be stock.
If there are tunable parts on the stock car they can be changed.
DO NOT ADD ANY PARTS TO ANY CAR'S!

Not really got the time in practicing this car I usually like. Hopefully I can weedle a little extra Tv time and get some consistancy together.
I'd say holiday dinner is going to coincide with the race schedule, sooo, I'm withdrawing before I no show, apologies...
No worries i allways knew it would be quite tonight with easter and all

Typical Chrysler.......electrical failure.

This BMW will do its best to kill you.
Signed up, this beemer is less likely to kill you then the 135i for EUSL qually IMO.

Haven't driven the beemer yet but know for a fact that statement is true! And I'll probably end up proving the point later today
You should drive the 1M then.

Just... No.
