Well the best I can manage is a 47.099, (Replay on SF) and it feels like I'm on the ragged edge, loosing at least .5 second on final bend, cannot seem to keep a smooth line with the controller, will try adjusting dead zones etc and might give it another go, or may well leave it till I get a wheel then try again
Id possibly be interested in this, but I could do with some direction. Which car are we talking about here as I think there are a few fairlady's on the game aren't there?? Shadders replied to my intro saying that this place may be a good one to start so I would be happy to race.
PTR paparrazi has tunes on his S/F (free) for this car, it's the older 240Z fairlady, and it's in D class, so a fairly easy ride to start out with. Each tune is named for the specific track to be used.
Fairlady Cup is to be run over six weekly races (tracks to be announced later this week) entry is open to all levels and entrants will be split into two classes.
Liveries will be presented to the winners of the classes and cash...well fredits for second (two mill) and third. (one mill) Oldschool has generously donated the paints and he will post them up when sign ups start (if he reads this LOL) he has offered three paints so one will be awarded for 1st overall of both classes and one to the most entertaining driver, be that the most dramatic crash (church is of course favorite here) or the best banter, or even the most hopeless. The community will vote at the end for the most deserving of the prestigious Numpty of the series Award and that driver will receive the final paint. Many thanks to Oldschool for the paints.
The Car will run with tunes as supplied by PTR Paparazzi each track will have a custom tune. The tunes are all available on the PTR paparazzi Storefront. Many thanks to Pap for all his help and support.
Seed times to be run on Maple Valley Reverse, they are to run done during any five lap stint and replays to be avaliable on your storefront.
I will also add three possible times for this event to start, 20:00 21:00 22:00 (GMT/BST) please indicate on the sign up sheet which times you can make, and the time with the most votes will have to be the one, it's the fairest way I can think of.
Hi Ryan, the car is the Nissan Fairlady 240Z, Fire over FR to PTR Paparazzi, you can get all the tunes from his storefront, one tune for each track, just grab em all, then click the sign up link above enter yo GT in first coloum and your race number in coloum, if you have not registered your race number already go HERE enter GT and race number, obviousley pick one thats not already in use. then get yourself onto Maple valley short reverse and ring the neck of that Fairlady, once you have a feel for the car, try and post a seed time by following seed time rules above, once you have your best time enter it on the sign up page, I will be on tonight if you want to run some laps have sent you a FR so will catch you later, most of all have fun, I know you will love it,

Welcome aboard Ryan. I've added you to my FL.
If you're looking for tunes for cars there are several quality sources within the club. The guys over at DirT, and Atlantic Tuning are very active and always putting out great stuff. Over at PTR we're not quite as active, but we do have some decent tunes available. If there's something specific you're looking for, but don't see, please feel free to ask over in the tuning section and someone will definately help you out.
Don't be stingy with the FR's you can always clean your list out later. The more friends you have, the easier it'll be for you to get involved. Also, don't be afraid to start up a room & spam invites to everyone you see that's playing forza. They'll either join in or respond with their own invite to an existing room.
Welcome aboard Rys, if you have sent me an FR I'll pick it up soon. I'll look out for you Saturday where we will be running this car on one of the series tracks and helping anyone struggling to improve their lap times.
Love the cars and the tunes!! Unfortunately time is in the middle of my work day . If anyone is running practice later in the day during the week or on the weekends, I'd love to run with ya.
I run the same cars during the New and Novice Drivers Event on Saturday, amoung the tuition there is also some fun racing so maybe you could hit that one...though of course a Saturday afternoon can be as busy as a work day...It's the curse of the timezones I'm afraid.
I'm not on too many people's Friends lists just yet, but anyone can send me a FR. I'm willing to run practice laps or help out in any way if anyone needs it. I'm usually online at PST friendly times, even though I'm in EST.

Cool !! You're right about Saturdays and the time zones of course. But I will be looking forward to finding you guys next Saturday...pending the "honey do's".

Nice one, Like I say the tuition or guidence for the slower drivers goes on while we are racing, so while working on the basics we all have to cope with traffic on track as well. Those of us simply working on our lines and racecraft are also doing all we can to finish first

Thanks Tourni!!! Have missed racing with the UK guys since F4 came out...hope to find some of you tomorrow @ New/Novice.
Okay peeps time to get real, the series will run on Tuesdays at 21:00 GMT. Starting May 8th at Maple Vally reverse. Still some seed times to get in and comments on hadicaps for the very few pro's...just enough to make a fair chance for everyone? I would love to see as many different winners as possible. Some tests could be run Saturday maybe to see what would work?
