no more improvement seems to be possible: 2.21:091 I watched videos, tested tunes, tried different lines, took many laps (from 6pm until now). See you at sunday!
room B was excellent racing. The RWD's did well. But first of all:
Sorry SKIWI! My car hit the curb, went airbone on two wheels and so I hit you from the left, as you were directly beside me. At this moment I was only passenger in my own car. Sorry. So I lost my 7th and you your 8th place.
I am happy with race one and two. I did my personal best time in race 1 dirty 2.20:373 and race 2 clean 2.20:980. Race 3 was okay until I made stupid mistakes in the last round and Skiwi could catch up with me.
By the way: My Audi was checked by the stewards and he is regulary. 350 bhp and exactly 2700 lbs. For Laguna Seca I think I will change back to wings.
Again it was a very good result for JDRT. I think Stevie won at least one race and is on his way to defend his BTCC title. Antz also was back on track.
@Stevie: Congrats mate!
@Antz: It is good to have you back!
I am waiting for the results, but I think, that I will stay in 8th place. It is so damned hard to take one step further. That is a real great competition!
Thanks guys for the good racing today. Xxxitement, as always you were pushing me to do better and better. I fully apologize for my actions at the end of the last race, it was a lapse of concentration for all, and also was silly behavior that was unnecessary.
@Skiwi: If I have had a little bit more confidence and patience I would have let you pass, to catch you in the very last corner. But I desperately did not want to loose my spot. As I came nearer I remembered the curb and ......... too late. It was a race incident, yes, but it was one from me. A stupid one. I pushed too hard. I apologize and next time I will behave or do better.
The hard way to learn is ..... make a lot of mistakes!
@jdankert - no apologies needed - I had created an incident about 5 corners before when I locked brakes as I was inside you and we tapped. I had so much fun trying to catch up with you over the last 2-3 laps of that race. I would gain, then make a mistake and the gap would widen again.
Felt that both of us would really be trying hard on the last lap giving it everything we could. I could have sad OK, I'll just say behind jdankert and finish in whatever place I was in, but we both wanted to do the best we could so we tried - that's what makes racing with YOU and others on 2O4F so much fun - we complete as cleanly as possible, knowing full well there may be accidental contact.
I have so much to learn from folks on here about how to pass cleanly in tight situations - I think in the 2nd race, derek passed me on te outside on that same corner while I was close behind tony; don't know how he did it but he did. In another race on Saturday, I think it was imjimme passed me on the inside in one corner - didn't think I had left him any room there at all but his comment back at the time was along the lines of "you left just enough gap, so I took it".
I want to get my car control up to that level but I know I'll need a lot more skill improvement amongst this group - the times I go on public lobbies, I now find it relatively easy to pass many folks (other than the Timmy's that just want to T-bone you)
Bottom line is, I believe we both had fun; I certainly did
But the Professor, Alain Prost, or Niki Lauda never would have made such a stupid mistake. They would have let you pass and saved, secured their places. Now I gifted my points to Jorm!
And there is another point: My consistency. You had the chance to hunt me, to come nearer because you drove very well and I drove very bad. I lost so many seconds, made mistakes I never made before, which made me lost my concentration, maximized my anger about myself and .......... I had a lot of work to do to control my emotiones, which resulted in even more bad driving. As I recognized that, as I saw you coming nearer, I tried to push more and ....... overdrove the car. Aaaahhhrrghhhh, "same procedure as last time". I think in this race I have learned a lot. A lot about myself.
Room B Racers - I will be able to host this Sunday 1-Dec-13 for the Laguna Seca race but not for the race on Sunday 8-Dec-13. Could someone volunteer to host that race please?
Always great racing against you Zeratul, thanks for the great battles in this BTCC series. Parcells can't make next weeks race so I'll catch up with you the next series.
Anyone else having issues getting into a lobby? Ive restarted my modem, router and xbox several times with no luck. Tride several different people and same prompt "Player Unreachable - Due to network problems, unable to connect to the other players system at this time"

Laguna is one of my favourite tracks, and i almost know it by heart, so i will be pretty fast there, even if i run a boxy car.![wink wink](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.gif)
Don't worry jadan I can only get a 2:20.7 at best and that's after practicing all week
Turn out better than I though tonight.
Good racing lads.
@Sim I'm sorry my car landed where it did after I rolled it![sad sad](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/sad_smile.gif)

Congrats to our Room B winners - Cherry (x2) and stevie
Good racing again wth clusters of folks in close proximity for most of each race.
@Jdankert - agree just a racing incident; I looked in the replay and that curb is tough; I rolled myself during practice at that same location.![21 21](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(21).gif)

Luckily for me, both of you went off there, So i took my chance and made a pass.
@Skiwi: YEAH, we had fun.

Good luck tomorrow guys, I'm not at home so I can't join you. To bad realy this is going to cost me a place.
I will most likely not make the final race either. See you next week.
Always great racing against you Zeratul, thanks for the great battles in this BTCC series. Parcells can't make next weeks race so I'll catch up with you the next series.
Not sure I would recommend this maneuver in the actual race but it can be pulled off cleanly
Here Raddo, Max and I battle it out in the corkscrew with Raddo making the pass with out a single touch between the three of us.
Sunday is going to interesting, thats all I can say!
Great pics Grim!
I think you have a big advantage over me on this track Church
