My driving and this car aren't going to see 1.36's I guess. Low 1.37's are about as good as I can get. I'm pretty sure I've seen 1.36's a couple times during test races.
If anyone wants me to take a look at their tune I'd be more than happy. I'll see if I can improve it and learn something to improve this car in the process.
I'm changing the PI for the 2000 Mustang from 630 to 621. Minumum weight should be 2955. This basically takes the build that Track used at infineon and puts stock width tires on and removes the race driveline.
I'm sure this is all the motivation he needs to show up and still beat everyone down

thats fine i dont mind a challenge at least its not 15% power handicap
Really prebuilt? Give yourself some skinny tires lol. I could only muster a 37.4, once anyway. I think Grim and Drivebye need skinny tires too :)
The handling rating on the 2000 Mustang with stock sized tires is still a 6.5 which is higher than any other car in the series. And it's speed rating is one of the highest.
37's should be good but I'm positive I've seen Drivebye run a 36 before and I think it may have been a few times.
I'm also going to make the PI on the the 65' GTO and the 70' Challenger 640.
So Max and Fitzy can add 10 more PI to their builds. They will have a fair bit of an advantage at the faster tracks that are left but they also have a big disadvantage on the handling oriented tracks.
And to be clear this was my decision based on what I see on the track. They didn't ask for anything. These changes can/will be made based on what I see, but also if someone has a specific complaint/suggestion feel free to send me a message.

The GTO is quick enough and powerful enough IMHO
You can choose not too if you would like. I know that adding PI only would add HP to those cars which you certainly don't need at the tighter tracks.
However 640 is the PI limit for those cars now and you can build them how you like.

Adding more HP i will need brake discs the same size as the wheels, plus 2 more parachutes

More Aero=reduced stopping distances........Just sayin'

Hey Max how about testing different wheel diameters and how those might affect braking distances (how tire sidewall affects braking distances).......Then let me know what you find out.

Congrats to Drivebye on a solid win and earning 200,000 credits this week.
Below you will find the current standings including the first of three point drops (lowest race to date is marked in gray). Next week I'll drop the 2 lowest scores from the totals
I know we already raced Maple Valley, but would someone gift me a great tune the '90 Camaro for Maple Valley.
Thanks
BigDaddy
Will do. I'll send it over tomorrow. I've found that a tune for Maple valley is a tune that handles well anywhere. So it should be good for any of the handling tracks. fwiw you ran some pretty good times with what you had.
Send me a friend request and gift over what you have if you don't mind.

Hmmmm it may not be wise to draw attention to yourself, Prebuilt can also take it away.
In max's case that might mean "I'm homo" but if I ever use it's in my opinion.

Done that!
well don't keep it a secret. What did you find out?
I should be on around 8est to get in some practice.

Congrats to Track on yet another win and earning 700,000 Credits this week.
After reviewing the qualifing replay driveby had a 1:37.817 and my last lap was a 1:37.396 to earn the 4 qualifing points

Nerve racking race with the curbs and all that. FINALLY pit strategy paid off for me.
Thanks for updating Grim and congrats TRACK!
Track put up a stock BMW 2002 in the auction house for 700,000 and send me a message once it's up.
