I spent all day thinking the site was down. All my bookmarks didn't work. It seems the main subpage is /forum/ now where it was /forums/ so everything broke.
As far as going public, sure, why not. We'll see how it plays out fairly quick I'm sure.
Been reading every post and for the life of me haven't figure out why it has come to this (Public). Anyone that could explain it in detail? First it started out "I Think" by Cotter to Effective Friday in I believe the same paragraph!!
It really won't affect us at all wheels. I've made this move for the benefit of the rest of 2o2p. There has been an ongoing discussion outside our forum about the direction of the site & how groups fit into that picture. In order to try & become more integrated with the rest of 2o2p, I decided to make our forums public to the rest of 2o2p. Joe schmo still can't come in here & start trolling our forum. It's just been opened up to other members of 2o2p. Hopefully this will give us a little more exposure by allowing people who might not play forza to have a chance to see what we do here.
I had originally planned on doing this today (Friday). But I decided to pull the rigger on the change early after having positive feedback here.
Although be warned. From the 09/Aug to today there are 332 Posts
True, yawn, yawn, reads like confusion. bottom line seems to be clear, if all groups follow they will benefit, there are a couple of groups I tried to look into, couldn't and didn't join them. Others are probably the same. Groups that are clearly defined by their title or description will just let the world know that they are worth knowing.
I am new to this web but been playing forza for awhile personally as far as this subject goes i think its fine as long as it still keeps with the integraty of 25 and older this is why myself and other friends looked into this site to play with adults Not with my kids!!!

@Cotter I have just sent a broadcast our explaining that any old book marks will not work and the new location of 2O4F.
Hopefully everyone will be able to refind us + the public forums.

I'm pretty sure that everyones bookmark isn't working because the 2O4F URL changed slightly from http://www.2old2play.com/forums/group-forums/2old4forza to http://www.2old2play.com/forums/divisions/2old4forza.
