Heh, I know that mate. But I'm still a newb and sometimes I get lucky and hit a track I have raced a lot and run well, then I hit one I don't know and drop back...I am happy wherever I am and am in it for the long haul, by this time next year I will have had my full rig for long enough to now how to use it, and will have run all the tracks rather than just the short ones. Anyway I am going to give it my best shot, I sometimes get my best times under pressure...like last week, no idea where I found a whole second, been looking for it all week. Lap after lap and I couldn't beat my best time then on the day...But then the race and cooked the clutch. LOL
You guys just don't understand and quite frankly neither does Parcells. Either the competition has gotten significantly better or this car really don't like Parcells and I'm beginning to beleive the latter.
Based on recent GT5 outings my skills haven't diminished but ever since we switched to this car I've consistently lost 1+ second to the field and that's being generous. I know I can get under 1:37.000 but haven't done it yet, its pretty sad really. It would be one thing if I didn't like the car but I do like it so that don't fly in the excuse department either. Increased the pressure to 35/34.5 makes no difference, I suck!
Phew what an intense race that was...Fitzy dogging my tail almost the entire race. There was a little paint rubbing after I made a slight mess of a corner and Fitzy pounced, but kept it together, clutch just about survived and I crossed the line with him behind me...most satisfying
At last , a race in which I largely held it together. Raddo forced me into a couple of errors but just held on. Also managed to close up on Hyper for a bit before raddo loomed large in the rear view. Learned a few more things.
Are the standings being updated today?
Cheers
Cheers mate.
BTW I have never really enjoyed motegi, but this car on this track is a blast. Not sure if it's the sort of track I'll be quick on but it just seems to suit the car.
Good luck man...Meanwhile back to the important stuff First outing on this track...Maybe done it sometime in the past but no memory of it. Got some quite tricky sections that either you get right and gain or mess up and lose a lot. But getting the feel for it I think and am lapping consistently, and that is key for keeping folk behind you, even if they are faster as I found out yesterday. Best of 1:43:395 so far and maybe 1:42s are not too far away. My gear sticks have started their journey here as well today so looking forward to seeing if they help with my clutch nightmare. My confidence in traffic has come on as well, not even Fitzy could intimidate me yesterday, though there was a moment of panic when I realized who was behind me. I have learned to just concentrate on my line and let the guy behind worry about getting past...
I won't make this Sunday's race because I have a christening for my wife's niece. For some reason they thought I should be the godfather to the child. Now I ask you who in their right mind would think I am responsible enough for the job. Poor kid doesn't stand a chance.

Based on practise I'll try and be ready to host the second room Curch.

Now do it!
Bullshit - if You going to be in roob B i'm going to room Z as i can not go under 35.7 ..............................
35:6 so don't worry Parcells I'm sure you will qualify for A and I'll be back where I belong
You belong where you want to be fella. Same as everyone else

38.5/34.0 f/r tire pressure.
But I can't recall what my times were
Thx for the race guys !!
By the way for all looking why cars dont go that quick as others - take a look on the tire pressure :-) This game confuse :-)
Theory is that 32 PSi is around best pressure - but numbers in tuning menu don't corespond to it especialy when You use Metric in telemetry ..........
32 PSi is 2.2 Bar that check in Your telemetry what the units You use
Have a fun to play pressure numbers.
Not going to make it today
Good racing lads.
See you next week at Motegi East

Another good race, three in front kept it real close all race !
Looks like Your kid WON the race - i need to wait another weeks
