Now I am confused, haven't an idea what you're talking about.
yesterday I put the MRS into the 1:42s on Motegi East but have never run the Indy GP or in other words currently have a dirty time posted. Furthermore I see Fitzy, Hyper and Wonka all putting in 1:45.xxx times in the MRS around the Indy GP...you shouldn't be 8 seconds slower than these guys????
Parcells isn't big on the Indy GP track and having tried to beat Juans time recently (and failed) I still don't like it.
Arse just wasted a day on the wrong bloody track...I do wish the full name would be given given because I was running an Indy track not an Indianapolis sodding track...Oh well practice is practice I suppose.

Infinion...yeah I know not a Grand Prix circuit but I was hunting for something called Indy and that was the only one...by the time I found it the "Grand Prix" had slipped my mind. As Kabar will tell you a dyslexic brain will do these traitorous things to you.

I thought Indianapolis was called Indy due to the Indy 500

Heh, I can guarantee we know more about you than you know about us, (speaking generically) The average Americans ignorance about Europe is stunning...If I was to say to the average American "I'm heading to the smoke to see the Gunners" they would have no idea that I was going to London to see Arsenal play. We are indeed two countries divided by a common language...

Not something like "the boat tailed swallow flies North in the winter"...it's all cloak n dagger over there...hehe

Heh, colloquialisms can be strange and wonderful things, they can twist the English language so far out of shape as to make it illegible to the uninitiated. I have traveled quite a lot and collected many such things that permeate my speech, from the word "Yoke" an Irish term to cover almost anything, as in, "Show me that yoke" to "Get to the foot of our stairs" an old Yorkshire expression of surprise. A common thing when people first meet me is them trying to work out where I come from, a game that always amuses me.

I'd say the heart of the matter, and the real difference is that we Americans tend to be more direct, often at our own expense I hear, but honestly, while we don't always understand you Imperialists on the other shore, it IS part of what we consider your "charm". I absolutely love getting in a lobby with on or two from Ireland, Scotland, England, hell East Europ even, don't we have one or two, and mixing it up, verbally as much as on the track. It really adds to the whole experience. I love it.
I've always had a facination for European discourse since I dated a girl from Germany, who taught me, among other things, what a loo was (WTH and where did that come from?)...water closet I can make the leap, but loo? WTH? Waterloo maybe? What's Napoleon got to do with a crapper? But I digress...
the one and only, the great and so rare seen Indy 500. Wow. In Germany never were any tv reports during the 80's and 90's about the iÍndy 500. All we could see and read were some articels in motorsport magazines. May be this year I get some informations about a live web stream?
Before I go to bed, here some news about me : I drove my first time under 1.50....a 1.49.719. That are 6 seconds more than POISDLY (1.44.472), but I'm closing the gap.
Is here any profi driver, who would be so kind to post his best lap as a video, so I can study his telemetry and tactic at this "difficult track" (my opinion)? I did't found any videos with "our" MR-S.
Bye bye until Friday! have to leave for a business trip.

PS: My son was against my idea to take the xbox with me, so that I can train in the hotel room.
You can watch the ghost laps as a replay and view from inside the car with all the telemetry. I will have posted one by the time you get back and as I am your next target that would be a good one to chase...I know you have chased my ghosts before

Put a replay up. Knight advice is good though. Aim for someone close and work from there. Laps 2&3 error strewn but ok high 1:44. Lap 4 a scrub. Lap 5 a reasonable (at the moment) 1:44.693.
Not really got a feel where my limit is yet but if I had to guess it would be low 43's. 1st turn is utterly critical to set up the immediate little corner 2 at speed and carry through 3. 4 is better tackled with early light braking and let momentum carry you through then POWER!!! :)
Would be really keen to see church hyper raddo or rogue post a replay.

Back on topic...1:45:095 and there is a 1:44:xxx in me if I can just get that first corner right. It's a fecker, no visual references for the turn in at all. Mind you that is not what I am averaging that is in the 1:45's with the odd 1:44. I would appreciate if one of the faster guys out there would put up a ghost...they are getting rarer than rocking horse shit for this car.

Need a fastish replay? I refer you to my previous post :) search eusl indie
I can't chase a replay and that is how I find I get faster, and like I say when I first started in the EUSL every week there were ghosts to chase...now none. So...um...I refer you back to my previous post

Most times there are faster cars IN CLASS and people have posted faster times in other cars, so you're probably running out of luck...
pick a comparable time off the leader boards perhaps?

There are three or four times posted in this car but the players have not done them in hot lap mode and I am assuming this is why the times are up in the club leader board but not a ghost...I have watched Poidsly's replay and noticed he is revving right up to the limiter, so that might account for a few tenths. Ah well Church will get one up soon, so as long as it not too much faster I can work with that.

Whether or not they are done in hotlap mode makes no difference. No one knows the conditions in which a ghost is saved. The only one I know for sure is that it will save the ghost of your fastest time you ran a car in Rivals mode. Other than that it's completely random.
In FM3 it was only the top 100 that saved their replay and ghost for others to race. Here in 4 it doesn't seem known what the conditions are that cause the ghost/replay to save.
I personally have times in the top 150 that were run in hotlap mode but no ghost saved.
Heh, yes...sorry. Well into the 1:53's a couple of hundreths behind Parcells...no doubt that will spur him on into the 1:52's. Only took 40 laps...
But what kind of car am I driving?...top of C class no doubt?
No your time is in the EUSL MR-S and you did it yesterday...Getting forgetful in your old age?
