I have been playing around with these cars this morning, and have found them all brilliant fun to drive. I took some out to the online hoppers last night and they were pretty competitive in the B class lobbys, despite me being a bit drunk
From driving them this morning, I have personally found the Merc 190e definately the easiest to drive, it feels very light and grippy to me, although not the fastest on the straights. I find the Ford RS500 is also nice to drive, and is my current favourite for the car I would like to use in the races,as I expect the 190e will be very popular. I have really tried to love the Alfa, as it makes a lovely noise, and is fast, but I am finding it more of a handful to be consistant with, but it makes you feel you have earned it when you get a comparable time to the 190e (at least in my case anyway!)
The AWD Audi is a beast, and I can't get decent times out of it, but I am not used to driving 4wd so probably requires a different driving style to get the hang of it. It does look lovely though
I haven't played with the M3 or Volvo much yet.
Great set of cars though, all in all very well matched while still feeling slightly different to drive, I am sure this will be a fun and close racing

Thanks Sam. I appreciate the feedback. I have made some changes to the Audi since posting it on my SF. Just some tweaks to the settings. I may be able to run a shakedown session later today to test both the cars and the Handicap system (the same one being used in the Playboy MX5 races by Tourni). I will look for folks on-line. Hopefully we can get a few racers in today.
I am still working on liveries as well and will be putting those on my SF for people to look at.
Snappy looking forward to this. I am heading over to your storefront as soon as I get off here to get these. When you get time can ya send me these tunes, please. Thnks
Fantastic work Snappy!
I tried all of the tunes tonight on Mugello Club and was surprised how close they are in terms of lap times!
The BMW, Mercedes, Volvo and RS500 were all within a tenth of each other after 10 laps each, but I was a second slower in the Alfa and slower still in the Audi.
My personal favourite was the M3!
Mapo.

Thanks Mapo. I had a session today with a few guys and plan on revising the Audi and Volvo tunes. Still lots of testing to do so ill look for you when I race them again. I've still got lots of painting to do as well.
Would like to join. Not sure what car as my wheel is at the shop. I can help with some of the liveries or what ever else you need from the Inkabodpains paint dept. Send me some general info on what is needed or where I can find .
I would like to join is possible please. I would like the RS 500 or merc 190e but would happy to use something else if you need to balance the car makes in the race?

You are welcomed to join in! While I would love to have every make represented I also realize guys want to drive what they like so feel free to pick either one.
Although the M3 and the RS500 were my favorites, initially, I really liked all of the cars I drove. I found this paint on someone's storefront, already with my #22, so I'll take this as a "sign" of which car I should drive... assuming no one else already has this livery done.
I just saw this, I wouldn't mind getting in on some of this. That is if my work schedule allows it to happen. May get to go commission so new gas plants so I can't really give up the money for 3 month of work. Anyways, will grab the tunes and give them a rundown. My painting skills suck so I would need a livery at some point with a #11 for which ever car I run (which really doesn't matter to me).
I may drop in from time to time.....but I've got so much on my plate.....I can't commit full time.
Yeah, I remember how it harassed me at the Bugatti Circuit then ultimately passed me as I exited the pits. Well done my friend. Hope to see you race with us. You may also be glad to know that a '93 Mustang Cobra may be in the works for this.

I'll have to look, but I may even have some Palmer Tube Mills decals.......hmmm.
I am taking a shot at a paint for the Audi, based on some pics I googled on the DTM series. Will post a pic when it's done.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing it.
Just so folks know, I am presently revamping the Audi and Volvo tunes with a bit of help from Imjimmeez. I should have the new versions posted up in the morning. Please grab them and give them a go even if you guys don't think you will drive either one for the actual races. Thanks again.
Here's the livery I made today. This is my first "real" paint of any significance. All of the pics of a Sport Qattro that I could find were the rally car, so I based this livery on the #45 Audi V8 Quattro from the 1990s.

@oldschool - I'd love to get that KARCHER paint.
@Inkabod - I've got several liveries done already but I've got to google some more images to work off of. Here's what I've got:
Volvo - NORDICA paint scheme
190E - Diebels Alt
Cosworth RS 500 - Texaco ( one on black and one on white)
Alfa - factory red paint
Audi - factory white
BMW - Jagermeister, black LUK OIL ( I will probably run the LUK OIL)
then there is oldschool's KARCHER and JDankert's Old Spice.
I've got a lot of painting to do, eh? If anyone wants to do some paints just let me know what your working on so we don't duplicate our work.
Snappy I sent you this paint.
Nice!! Thanks Fitzy.

I like it, Ciletti. Very Nice. No Audi? I see from your sig that you are an Audi guy.
Yes, I do like Audis, but my painting skills are limited presently - I'm working on it, though.
While green wouldn't be my first choice of colors, finding this tailor-made replica livery with my number already on it just seemed like a no-brainer.
That will give me more seat time behind the wheel, which I can certainly use. Whoever painted it did a nice job.

I have the Texaco's in black and white AND a custom brown as well...
Any chance of a white Texaco livery with my race number 96 ? That would be great :)
Thanks
That JPS M3 in the video is hot!

The original tune was AWD. Are you planning to do the drivetrain swap to RWD on the new version?
Nope, still AWD. It's actually up right now. Grab it and give it a go.
I'll grab the new tune tonight and test it out.

Nice job Ciletti
Perfect!! Now loets race!! Lol
Sending FR
