That's a nice paintjob CIletti, especially if it is one of the first you have done! I have recently started to try painting too, my MX5 was the first proper effort, and I have just made up a McLaren MP4 GT3 R3 car, my results are not that good but it's very addictive once you get into it.

I'm hoping to take part in this when it gets going, I would love to know some target tiimes I should be looking at in some of these cars. I've already taken most of them out on mugello club, and I know what I'm hitting, but what should I be looking ofr on a specific track?

I have found a photo from a Mercedes 190 E, which was driven by Joerg von Ommen. Yellow is the basic colour and the main sponsor was Promarkt? Is anybody interested in using this (google)? I would try to make that design for you. Next weekend.
I am in for this series. I love these cars. I may miss a race or two, but I will try to make as many as possible. I will build the cars this week. I have some paints, but might need help with some.
Great resource guys! The cars look awesome. I'm going to tighten some things up, update the SF builds and try to get set for a set of exhibition races this Saturday. Don't worry if paints aren't done or anything like that. This will be for fun and to see how competitive the cars are. I also want to check tire wear and try to decide on tracks.
Sam - I ran some practice races with Shark and Motörhead at Hockenheim GP today. Lap times were between 2:00 and 2:04. We also ran at Catalunya GP and the times were between 2:08 and 2:10 ish.
JDankert - Hope you can make it.
Let's aim for a 3:00 pm EST start for the practice races. We will run at Hockenheim GP and Catalunya GP.
Holy shite, I might actually join this! I have few DTM-style paints done for M3, 190E(both Diebels), RS500(Lui) and SportQ(Marlboro Rallye car replica).

Guys, for the practice today we will run a few 4 lappers at a couple different tracks. ( Hockenheim, Nurby GP, Silverstone, Alps-Stadplatz) I need to see how closely the cars run at the mid size circuits versus the full legth ones.

Ran most of these cars last night. I absolutely love them. They feel great on my CSR Elite and THR8S H shifter.
