Cotter, I am so happy for you.  If there is a person in the world that deserves this kind of generosity, its you.  You will love the CSR and the pedals.  They are a nice upgrade over the M$ wheel.

Congratulations on the new wheel and the girlfriend!! You're a great guy who has brought this rag tag bunch of car nuts together to create a wonderful community. Your gift is very well deserved.

Kudos to Ted/DesmoPilot for a level of generosity that is very rarely seen today.

Congrats on the new car and wheel.  You'll enjoy both no doubt.

Cheers!

Just a heads up to everyone...got a text from Cotter and he is slow, maybe real slow, while trying to learn the new wheel. If you have ever wanted to make Cotter your bitch on the virtual track, this is officially your chance. Do it! Cause another week with that wheel and he's gonna be faster than before.

Really glad you are enjoying that wheel, buddy. Couldn't think of a better person to send it to. How you liking that load cell brake pedal? Rethinking all your braking strategy yet? Took me a while to learn...

Thanks everyone for the kudos and such. The world isn't all that screwed up so long as there are holdouts of good people, like here in 2O4F. The real kudos goes to people like you all that keep a place like this running, organized, friendly, and helpful for everyone who wants to race or learn to. I have never had a problem, question, or request that someone from here didn't step up immediately and bail me out. Good folks here. Plus, every one of you that I have had the good fortune to meet face to face have not turned out to be the mouth breathing basement dwellers that online gamers are supposed to be. 81  I am the fortunate one for all the friends I have met here. Now, if I could just break this very long streak of racing inactivity...

Loving the new wheel. The brake is really the only thing I am having a really hard time with. I think I am going to have to adjust the brake pressure up on all of my cars. It seems like I juat can't stop now. I was running 200% on a test car yesterday & still struggling. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually. Thanks for telling my secret Ted.

You are having trouble with the load cell brake because its far more realistic than the potentiometer brake on the M$ pedal set.  Be careful about stomping that load cell too much.  It can break.  I know you fast guys like to smash the brakes, but that won't work on the Fanatec pedals.  Rather, if you want to stomp the brake, you gotta go with the T500RS pedal set, with or without basherboard's brake mod.

Put in some more time just now. got my 1st 3 wins with the new wheel. I'm finding my mojo again.

I think I am in love with this thing. No comparison to the old ms wheel. Superior in every aspect. I really doo feel like I am more able to put the car exactly where I want it.

I'm getting a feel for it now. Had to tinker with the load cell knob a little, but i'm coming along quite well now. I seem to ba able to be much more precise with all of my controls with the new wheel. It's truly amazing. It definitely gives a better feel than the old MS.
