November 15th. Woot! Y'all like the gamescom reveals? I did. I especially liked the Indie announcements. I'm liking this attention to the indie scene a lot. I'm feeling more and more like the ps4 was the correct choice for me.

The ability to view a live game in progress and join in looks really cool. I don't know why more people aren't talking about that. That's a hell of a feature if it works on more than just Sony first party games.
I'm pretty sure that will be a digital copy feature. I can't imagine it will be that quick if you're running a disc. I would assume he already had that game loaded up like the Vita does as well.
I think I might go digital for pure mp titles and disc for the sp stuff.

If I'm reading that right the headphone jack can also be used for game audio. Not sure how that good that audio will be considering the limited bandwidth on bluetooth but it's kinda cool to have in a pinch. I personally always use headphones. I think the Wii U also has this feature on the tabpad.
typically I'm anti-gimmick - hate motion gaming and I would have thought the same about VR after having tried them for years in arcades etc. but after seeing some of the Oculus Rift videos on youtube and how it completely fucks with peoples heads I am definetly more intrigued.

Interesting article on some of the 'garlic' and 'onion' buss (memory controllers) in the ps4.
The thing I took away is it took 6 months to port 'the Crew' from pc to ps4. Using 2-3 people.

the Vita integration is a huge factor for me.
I was hoping for more on the PS3, but PS4 will sate that hunger.
remote play was something I was so happy to hear about for the vita/ps3, and the demo for PS4/Vita with AC Black Flag... can't wait.
