The Car:

2008 Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 (Base Model and Volkswagen Motorsport)

Mandatory Services that MUST be used:

1. Oil Change

2. Improve Body Rigidity

Tyre Selection:

Racing: Hard

Racing: Medium

Racing: Soft

Racing: Intermediate

Racing: Heavy Wet

Rules:

1.  Custom Tuning IS allowed but no extra parts are to be added to the car. (Tuneable parts are the Suspension and Transmission)

2.  This is a NON-Contact event. However lightly rubbing or leaning on another car is allowed as long as it doesn't result in rubbing the other car into:

A) A Wall or Barrier

B) A 3rd/4th Car,

C) A totally different direction

D) Anything too aggressive that may prompt your opponent to submit a complaint against you.

Please drive clean and respectfully.

3.  Cosmetic damage will be enabled.

4. Fuel and Tyre ware will be set to Very Fast

5.  Success Ballast will be in effect. (See below for more information)

6.  Each race night will consist of 1 x 7 Minute Qalification Event and 2 x 25 minute races based on laps.

7.  Race 2 will feature a reverse grid based on the lobby points that evening.

8. There are NO mandatory pit stop’s required.

9. Your lowest 4 race points will be removed from your final score.

10. Any cars found not to be built to spec and that have raced will be banned for the rest of the season.

Any complaints must be made by Private Message here on 2Old2Play within 24 hours of the race finish.

Success Ballast Information:

A system of "Championship success ballast" weight handicap will be applied to the top 5 drivers in the VW Scirocco Cup.

The success ballast awarded after the second race each week will be effective for the free practice sessions, qualifying session and the First Race at the following Championship Meeting.

A success ballast weight handicap will be applied to drivers after each race to the following scale: -

1st position: +45 Kg 
2nd: +36 Kg 
3rd: +27 Kg 
4th: +18 Kg 
5th: +9 Kg 
6th or lower: 0 Kg

So if you come 1st in race 1 your H/C will be plus 45KG for race 2. If you come 6th or lower in race 2 your weight H/C will be 0KG for race 3 the following week.

(These are the exact same rules as the real BTCC AWESOME!)

Points:

1st = 20

2nd = 17

3rd = 15

4th = 13

5th = 11

6th = 10

7th = 9

8th = 8

9th = 7

10th = 6

11th = 5

12th = 4

13th = 3

14th = 2

15th = 1

16th = 1

The overall champion will be decided by the driver who has the most points over the season.

Tracks and Dates:

All races are to be held on a Friday at 22:00 GMT, 17:00EST, 16:00CST, 15:00MST, 14:00PST

Each race night will take no longer than 1 hour. There will be 10 different tracks. Each track will be hosting 2 races per week.

The track weather will be the same as it is outside my window on race day.

I will give a weather forecast on the Thursday before each race.
