Still trying to convince my wife to get a One, her desire to game has fallen off alot in the past 6 months though. I have gone back to Shadow of Mordor to try and finish that up before the Witcher 3 releases. Plus I really need a break from all the bad frame rates and rubberbanding.
No! No breaks for you! We must have more 60s ASAP!
My hunch is that the lag and "framerate" issues are mostly network and server related, but I did find things got somewhat better when I rebooted the home router and did a hard reset on the Xbox.
I second the hard reset - definitely makes things better.
They've now drastically expanded this event to also include double astral diamonds and refinement points. They're also putting many items in the zen store on sale, most notably character slots at 90% off. As a sometime alt junkie, I will be picking up a few of those!
Ah, bad luck. The bonus does extend from 10am today (Friday) until 10am Monday (Pacific times), but that's still not long enough if you have big weekend plans.
I went from level 25 to 32 yesterday, and I somehow got lucky enough to find a raiding party attacking Charthraxis at the time. I was level 30 at the time and we killed him. It was awesome!

That's great! I somehow missed the movie the first time I read your post. Dragon kills are certainly a very fun part of Neverwinter, and you will have no end of opportunities to kill them once you reach the endgame.
I switched Five Arrows to it a few days ago, and it really lives up to the hype. I only run one dungeon a day, so I can't get good statistics, but the last two days running epic Pirate King I've had 2.5X the damage of the second highest player and almost 2X the second highest number of kills. Much better than I'd ever done before. And the best part is, it's crazy fun to play!
I have a HR. I'll definitely give that build a try once I hit 60. I don't think I'll ever understand the mechanics of the game to the level of that guy.
Excellent! Now that I've got my ranger geared with drake seal-quality purples, I feel like I've gotten most of what I hoped to get from solo/pug play. But if I could somehow find my way into some good groups, there are still a lot of dungeons I'd like to try.

Still on lvl 42...had to break off from Neverwinter for MKX. It's lost some of the newness but I'm determined to hit 60 before I have to dedicate my free time to Project CARS.
Let's see if we can find an agreeable time to group up and do some epic dungeons! Ideally we can make a full team of five, but if we can even get three of us in a group, we can keep the other two randoms in line. When would be a good time to shoot for? I'm flexible most weekends, including this one. Best candidate early next week that I can offer would be Tuesday 4pm Pacific (7pm Eastern, 11pm GMT). We could easily make a Cloaktower run or two in an hour. I'd like to bring on my cleric (new 60 with no purple gear yet). Can configure for DPS or healing as needed.

Does that sound good? Alternative suggestions?
That time is good for me. I'm on most nights around then. Hopefully my HR can be useful.

My Cleric is only level 23, but when I get to a decent level I'll start healing you guys.
Cool! I'm still working on my own cleric, but only because there's still such a shortage. Would much rather stick with my ranger and wack stuff!
Double XP this weekend!

Wow! I'm so glad they extended this to Xbox!
Leveling time!

Damn. I have loads of work to do this weekend.

How did the levelling up go guys? I only got on for about 2 hours last night. Think I progressed maybe 3 or 4 levels which is bit disappointing.
I had a great time with the double XP. My companions are now levels 20, 9, and 5.
Glad you guys were able to take some advantage of the double XP! I'm looking forward to the day when we can make a full 2o2p Neverwinter party.
For those of you running a hunter ranger, I hope you are all aware of this build:

dragons are fun, have gotten two bone items and some draconic greaves so far.
I've gotten dragon shoes once, and that's it. The drop rates are not very high, and those of us who are unfavored by rng have to be patient!
If anyone is interested in starting a guild, me and the wife are on most nights. We just need 3 other people to party up so we can get it rolling.
Hit me up the more the better \m/
I can help too! Have yet to get any juice out of the couple of guilds I've been in. Probably my fault somehow...
Drop me an invite anytime you see me on Bee and I'll join you. I'm still only level 49 so I might be able to you join you adventuring just yet....
It's not far at all from 49 to 60 in this game. Leveling almost seemed to speed up for the last few levels.
Up to 57 now. One or two more nights.............

I've never played it in any form. Hook up with me and I'll join up with ya. Still playing the fool out of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Ryse: Son of Rome . Two of my favorite games of all time.
OK, reached 60 last night. Whats next?
