Okay. Folks who are looking to join the lobby but are not on my FL should be able to find me on the "Active2O4F" friends list on XBL. I will try my best to stay on the lookout for everyone.
Seems an early shunt took out some main contenders, and it was a bit disjointed after that. Still enjoyed chasing down Fitzy then Kraigger.Then Imjimeez - and a bit of a coming together. Would have needed at least 4 more laps if not 6 to get at Snappy.
Yeah i did hear that some thing had gone a bit wrong, still its all part of the learning process. Drag tyres and Sim damage means that drivers have to be more careful when manouvers happen, they also will learn to predict what happens when others get it wrong. Good fun though :)
in practice i was doing steady 1:44s then for the race i got moved to Pro handicap - started at the back and then was able to get through a few disasters to get up into 5th - then at the end of lap two i got hit from the rear and spun out - spent the rest of the race trying to go from last with the whole pack way ahead of me - decided not to pit stop and see what i could salvage out of it.
ended up in 5th. i had a fast car , i guess i was not aggressive enough. gonna have to start using the bumpers for what there made for
The accident in my room was just a racing incident.
T4 Knight got lose and I was too close to go around so braked hard to restrict the damage but got a few other cars in to the back of me and that was that really.
Yeah. Missed it by millimetres. Looked to me like no-ones fault. Just one of those things. We had it 3 abreast a couple of times with no issues - well done with that.
I was disappointed with my ccoming together withe Imjimeez. Seems I am particularly prone to late braking incidents, but when I do brake early I tend to loose 100's of feet and I'm trying to race more and hotlap less. That's hotlapping for ya! ;)

Thank you for the great first time experience! Too bad my steering wheel glitched on the second lap and kicked me into a menu!!! Great clean fun racing.

Can you photoshop Parcells into your highlights Tourni? I'm feeling kind of left out here and then my Giants took a royal beat down yesterday and are in serious jeopardy of missing the playoffs now, could be a very sad Christmas :(
Good craic in Tourni's room in the mx5s. After gaining a place due to Kings wheel mishap, spent rest of race being a mobile chicane!! Did hold tourni up for a few laps though......

It was a matter of needs over wants. All my stuff has to be shipped to the East Coast...so I HAD to get finished this weekend. As always...I wait until the last mintue.
And now with the proper equipment, I can throw a proper party for all the bunnies.
If it's any consolation, the whole time I was dealing w/ crowds I was thinking, "I could be home racing right now...."

Had fun despite not being able to avoid Knight and churches coming together limped back to the pits but damage was to much could not get over
90 mph after so called it a day but deff like the tyre and sim damage deff make it more interesting .
all in all a lot of fun.
