Snappy, one of the motors crapped out in my CSR Elite and so no Forza for me until next Friday at the earliest. Fanatec has already shipped out a replacement. This will be my forth Elite in the year since I bought the first one.

Jeez. That's awful. Is it common for the many of those Elites to go down like that?

Is the Club Sport Wheel having those problems?
I don't know the extent of the problem. I do know that Darin Gangi of ISR has heavily criticized the Elite and Clubsport wheels as not being ready for prime time and I cannot say I disagree with him, in light of my experience. On the other hand, several guys in 2Old4Forza, including Wheels, Parcells and Troysloth, have had Elites for a while now with no major problems. Also, Fanatec has been very response to my requests for help. This time around, they will have my replacement wheel in hand less than two weeks after I first notified them of the problem, even though its the holidays. That is good customer service.

Should be there tonight. No practice though.
Im on my 2nd Elite. The first burnt out after two weeks back at launch. Replaced within a week. Solid ever since touch wood. But would still agree that i was launched a bit Beta, which really should not have been the case.
Hi Paul, the build should be C398. You can get it (with a tune) from Tourni6 storefront, or make one up from a stock car using the build pn page 1 of the thread. While you are there take a look at the replay Tourni has done in his Mx5 around Road America, it should help with your lines etc, although dont worry if you don't get near his time
If you need a number board to stick on your car I will put the one I used on my storefreont. Cheers Sam.
well 2:47 is the best i can do..I pretty much use the same lines as Tournie just think its more confidence with me and the controller tbh i let go off the trigger on some turns so loose speed and will drop down gears to fast before a turn
I'll see if i can set you one up Steviegers, the one in the garage isn't really tuned. With drag tyres and max width, they were alot tamer.
TCS can be useful on these too :)
Cheers boss that would be great and I would rather stay away from the TCS and maybe try get some more track time
Yeah, I get annoyed with TCS because i can't kick the ass out when i need it. :)
Try the holden in the garage around silverstone gp - let me know what you think... should hook up better.
Awesome video, looked like a "real" race :) Definately a great advertisement too.
Going to miss this weeks as I won't be home till 9 ish :-(
Will not make it this Sunday wheel is at the shop. Maybe next week.
On road america what are we looking at for a decent lap time.?
2.37.500.. I would assume that you'll be looking at 2.42 ish..
I need a little bit of work lol 2:54 so far.
It may be 2.47 then.. Can't remember :D
Hello,
