@Fitzy - Can team PistonHeads get some track girls? Are they in the budget?
Unfortunately not Parcells we are just concentrating on the cars and there is no time for distractions. Regarding the girls a wise man once said " Once you've seen one of them wipe their ass you've seen them all."
You really do need to work on your cars, I agree.... You need all the practice you can get!
I've not heard that expressin before Fitzy but it makes sense...I think???
Rest assured it will never happen again and I apologize for this time but I was only testing you to see where our team prioities are. Once again you've come up with the best answer which further emphasizes Parcells committment to the team. We dont need the distractions...and nothing stopping us from glancing at other teams girls either so our money is well spent on car improvements!
To the usa guys, Please note this event starts an hour later than last time due to the clocks going forward.
Race day though :-) :-) :-)
NO, it's now an hour earlier than in week 1 for the North American guys.
For the eastern time zone, were back to GMT - 5, so the
normal start time is 3pm EDT for us. Grim will
have the b room open at 2pm EDT for practice, with
the completion of the 3rd race from week 1 starting
@ 2:45 EDT.
The JDRT-drivers are all okay, the cars are ready and if nothing unexpactable will happen, they are all on track tonite. The team owner JDANKERT stated:
"I don't expect wins, but my #1 driver ChurchPro is always a potential winner. One or two places at the podium would be great, but the most important is for us to gain experiences.
All I hope is, that all other teams and drivers are not over motivated. I think the first corner will be a challenge. Do you saw the first corner at Laguna last night? There was a Peugot 207 open race and, wow, I can tell you, it was crazy. Nearly everybody tried to win in the first corner. That is not the racing style for a professional series. We will see!"
Man that was tough going, found the track really hard flirted with the sticky stuff a lot. At least all team PistonHeads drivers raced and I think we did well enough overall except for me in the second race sorry guys. I would like to congratulate my two drivers Cobra and Parcells for a great showing.
What a feckin nightmare, headset problems blighted me, don't know what the feck was going on, add to that the first race I found myself on my own halfway through the race after I assume the severs just dumping me despite a rock solid internet connection my end, then the second race I tried running in total silence...punted off on the first lap, okay shit happens but with no audio I just kept missing gear changes so write that race off, two down, tried to run with just enough audio to hear my engine but the crys of dispair meant I just quit out, three down...Never mind the troubles just getting a lobby going in the first place. So three abortive races, it's just a curse
ARRRGGGGGG!!! So, I think Im getting better. Running in a pack is fun as hell. I keep it clean and can stay in the pack. Once I lose the pack or a driver, I'm done. Lots of clean laps, but I just dont have any speed!!! At all. I think Im losing it in the corners even though Im using the apex etc...So frustrating. Maybe its my cheapo wheel and im Feathering or not feathering the throttle enough. IDK.... Had a HUGE BLAST today though. The presure of "racing" or blocking makes it all the more fun and definently pushes me to drive better. I just wish i had some speed. Thast all.
End of rant!! Fun times Men!!! Congrats to the winners!
Thanks everyone for your patience today. It took forever to get the race going but once we did, it seemed to go well. @Knight - That was bizzar to say the least and sorry you had troubles with the audio.
To everyone - thanks again for your patience. Glad we were able to get all the races in. I'll have the video's up later tonight
@knight- I know what you mean. I have a 60Mb
connection and was just kicked frpom the servers
in race 1 and 3 of the BTCC. The last one hurt,
because I was a couple hundred feet in front at the
time. Thanks Microsoft...
@jdan Congrats on the SLCC win!
Looking at the 2nd and 3rd races from my replays, aquiel2k was a bunny (hopping all over the place) and I had a heck of time concentrating whenever he was around. Funny thing is no-one else saw it and I didnt see anyone else have lag issues.
You really do need to work on your cars, I agree.... You need all the practice you can get!
Ah that was a good day...and night

Just a reminder to the B room drivers that we will start the 3rd race from Week 1 @ 1945 BST sharpe. Please do not be late!
Also, I will open the room at 1900 BST for practice.

Somebody please confirm the time conversion table listed on the schedule at the following link is accurate (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtJz_lY_51zNdGVOa3hWXzVtN2VZTWlkeWR6T09pVEE&hl=en_US#gid=6) If not, please update it asap and let us know. I for one rely on this table for start times. Ugh
based on my calculations, I agree with Ciletti (provided this is starting @ 2000 BST as advertised)
I be on at 2:00 est and before!
I owe my owner lots of track time!!!

@ gunny the speed will come, you learn more in one race with people than you do against the ai
As the guys said no idea what was going on I could hear the guys but I had no other game sound murder trying to drive with no car sounds
Don't forget though lads the internet is still under a huge DDoS attack and will be causing issues every where

Seat replays are on my storefront. Good racing guys really enjoyed it.
