Had an MRA of my head last week to try and diagnose what's causing these stabbing pains in my left temple. That's LEFT TEMPLE. Drs office calls today and says my right sinus has something or other wrong with it, and I need to see an ENT. I've had sinus problems for fucking ever. My RIGHT sinus is NOT causing stabbing, debilitating pain in my LEFT fucking temple. I told the nurse the problem is left temple. She said "um yyyyeah. Right sinus problem won't cause severe left temporal headaches. I'll um...remind the dr the pain is on the left and not a sinus headache." For. Fucks. Sakes.
P.S. I can't wait to see this movie y'all are putting together!

i think some people refer pain differently or the brain interprets it wrong. My back nerve impingement is on the left, pain is all on the right. Nuerosurgeon doesn't know why.
Yay another three days filming, not so yay I have been asked to try and deal with a bunch of extras that are expected to sword fight, no training and maybe half an hour on the day to try and drill some basic safety into them. If I come out of this one without taking a hit or two I will be surprised.

This sinus problem on the right side is one I've been aware of and had for a decade. This stabbing left temple thing is two months old. Mostly I'm angry at my rheumatologist. He's doing the concierge dr thing now. If you aren't a concierge patient, you're fucking lucky if he can be bothered to take three minutes to be concerned with you. And he is the best in the state. People move here just to be his patient. So I can't go find another one. The only other practice in the area is the one that nearly killed me by misdiagnosis. /rant
So I have NO idea what I'm doing with the One. Clicking on people from the site and clicking "add friend". An I really adding them or just stalking (following) them? Who knows.

The last time someone was pissing and moaning to me about a game, they were trying to get me to join in the pissfest. My response? "If it's pissing you off that much, quit playing it." All I received in response was a stuptified look. If it's not fun or enjoyable...why do it?
Sometimes it's justified...but it's a pretty small percentage of the time. As long as they are trying to fix it in a reasonable amount of time, I'm fine with it. People should know by now that release day on an online game is going to be a bit bumpy...no reason to get panties in a bunch!

I'll play for awhile, then I'll eventually get annoyed, frustrated or pissed off by something in the game...and I'll shelf it for a while...usually months at a time. :D Forums are the same way, I'll either quit looking at threads or sometimes forums as a whole when I get sick of it (I don't remember the last time I was on the official "GW2" or "Wildstar" forums).

On a happy note, picked up a new PS3 to replace my original unit that finally gave up the ghost. I'm still not ready to spend the extra money on the new systems...especially w/ most of my gaming being on the PC now. But I needed a BlueRay player...and since I have a pretty decent library of PS3 games I've amassed over the last 5 or 6 years... Picked up a 500G bundled w/ "The Last of Us".
Also purchased "Tropico5" on Steam a couple days ago. Been enjoying the hell out of that in the evenings when I can find a little time.
Anyhow, back to the grindstone. Working on Saturday yet again (been working 60s since mid Oct), and unfortunately today is looking to be a 12 or 14 hour day. We'll see how it goes.
