Staying busy here between work, car projects, yard work...and I'm still finding some time to squeeze in a little gaming & building models.
I'll be glad when these elections are over...too bad it's still several months away. I'm getting tired of listening to people w/ blinders on from both sides going at each others throats. They are a politician...I don't care who they are, they have their own secret agenda. And I can guarantee you they don't give a damn about you or me. They are looking for the best way to advance their own position/career/future. :D
Spent Friday & Saturday doing yard work & polishing/waxing the car as it was starting to turn matte pink. It's now red again and the rain is back upon us once more...albeit very lightly so far.
I dreamed my relatively new roof was leaking. So bad the basement was flooding. The roofer was no longer existent. Insurance didn't want to pay up. Everybody blamed me.
Met up with some old squadronmates last night for dinner and some BSing. I hadn't seen one of the bastard's in 20 years. It's amazing how with certain people...the amount of time means nothing. It wasn't long and it was '94/5 again. Lee's GF was a good sport putting up with the 4 of us salty dogs reliving the glory days.
The retirees from my Federal department meet at a quaint old tavern called the Ship Victory once a month. It's great to see the old familiar faces. Good for remembering names too.
We've had a few give up their seats and move on into the ether. We always honour them with memorable talk. My video game buddy is gone now too so when I sit down each month, I tell the nearest guy he's 'it' for games and tech talk. Talk about rolls eyes. lol

Snow storm, for crying out loud! Trees are so heavy laden the possibility of a power outage is high.
Was chilly this weekend, but suppose to be back in the 70's today though.

Did that last summer, well, cut a lot of tree's down last summer. Made some decent money in the process.
Another 5" of heavy wet snow yesterday. I had to drive for 4 hours on slushy roads too.
Hit 80 on the back porch in the shade yesterday.

Wife and I binged on Season 5 of Game of Thrones. Ready for tonights GoT season 6.
That is a popular show. I haven't watched it myself yet though.
Just saw Star Wars The Force Awakens for the first time. We quite enjoyed it. Very surprised we didn't run into spoilers since it came out.
Looking forward to VIII.

Still haven't seen that one yet. The last three kinda turned me off of it...
I could understand that, if everything about it wasn't completely different. No George Lucas, direct sequel to Jedi.
No Lucas is a big plus. I'll see it, just will have to see it at home.
Just saw the last Fantastic Four movie on cable...and I'm quite glad I didn't see it in the theater...how can anyone get something soooo wrong?
It's on cable here too. Glad to know I won't need to rent it.
