As we move into the next phase of 2old2play we need to make some upgrades to the server. As such you might notice some down time this evening around 7-10pm Central Time. The upgrade should only last around 15-20 minutes.

The upgrade is NOT the release of version 3. We are simply taking the time to go over a lot of the old software that runs behind the scenes and update it. When we do release V3 the site will more then likely have a fairly extended downtime that should happen over the coarse of a weekend.

I gave people some extra time this weekend to get back to me in order to save some clans but it looks like its time to press the nuke button. As I said in my last blog, I will more then likely move clans into the trash area where 1 person just posted to keep it alive. Clans like that don't seem like they are serving a purpose and will just add to the clutter once V3 gets rolled out.

Just letting everyone know I'm moving out the inactive clans to the Clan Dump Area. I'll wait till Monday to delete them all and give you guys time to freak out and PM me. Also, for those clans that posted in their forums with things like "hey does anyone post here echo............." type posts I'm probably going to move those to the clan dump area as well. It seems like clans are being saved just for the sake of being saved. If you believe your clan can make a push to build up the ranks then please go for it.
