I'm Reading a Book

I'm Reading a Book called "Darkest Fear" by Harlan Coben.  It's another book in the Myron Bolitar series that is just insanely good.  The writing is incredible, the humor impecable, and the mystery stories divinely woven into it all.  Each book stands on its own, but overall Coben weaves in some interesting stories and themes.

Fishing

I went fishing on Saturday on the most monster fishing tour of my life with my best friend Scot, his wife and a fishing guide named Bob. We had an incredible day unlike any fishing trip I've ever experienced.

First, let me preface this summary about our day by giving a quick background of previous fishing trips that I've had with Scot:

Pushing People

It's interesting how in life, most people always want "status quo" - basically, real emotions should be skirted so that the peace is kept.  But, what happens when the stuff hits the fan?  Are they really your friends, or do they cut and run?  Will you only find out when the big hurdles come up?

AINARW

Acronimosity is not a real word.  I used it today because of a string of acronyms.  Now, I feel guilty so I must purge in the great vastness of the Internet where bits and bytes shall cleanse me of my transgressions.  FTW.

360 Rules

LOL - ever get "called out for something" based on some arbitrary system of rules on XBL?  You know, "Dude - you are a bad person for what you did.  When I do it, it's ok because of XYZ, but you didn't follow my rules of XYZ, therefore you are wrong."  It's always funny to me how any one person's "rules" can seem "right" to them, but when they take it that final, poorly thought out step forward (decrying you publicly for the "broken rules" or holding you responsible to their rules), then it crosses into a different, harsher, sadder territory that I admit, I don't care for.
