See previous post, the dude is real.  He came on 20 min after 10pm.  Damn I thought it was a joke.  What's funny, though, is a french guy with an italian name reminding everyone of their childhood.

So I'm looking through the channels on my cable box with the guide display.  I scroll past Home Shopping Network that has "Mario de Luigi Cosmetics".  At first I just went past it, because I'm thinking it's a typo - but curiousity gets the best of me and I check it out.  It was actually Michael diCesare.  I guess somebody who's responsible for typing the shows at Comcast had some fun.

It's channel 31 at 10 pm.

It's that time of year again.  This festival happens a block away from my house.  I take a few days off not just to go, but because I can't leave my neighborhood.  If iget a chance, I'll post some pics.  Last year was the first year of the air show, and it adds a lot.  It's cool to see these jets fly a couple hundred feet above the water right in front of you.

Alas, this also means the summer is over.  It's already getting cooler at night... but thank God I don't live where it snows!

ALright, I'm crappy at blogging - mainly because I find the best blogs are the ones where people (Tank, Soup) find funny pictures and make me laugh.  I, however, would like to use my blog to reminisce about things.  The first thing that comes to mind is the album "And Justice For All", by Metallica.

Has anyone played the demo for Saint's Row?  In the first 5 minutes, I witnessed, in graphic form, a lot of violence.  Then I was recruited by a gang, which initiated me by kicking my ass, then I had to shoot other gang members and steal hos for someone else to make money.  What's weird is, and this may have to do with the late hour I played the game, but my 2 yr old son watched the entire thing.  He has a short attention span, so I was really surprised at this.  What was it about the game that was so interesting to him?

This is a funny thing I heard on, of all places, Adam Carrola's radio show.  Basically he was wondering why you would send a black woman to an area of woman-hating anti-semites... do you think they're gonna listen to her?

In an episode of South Park, they have an idea about taking an elephant and a pot-bellied pig and making a... pot bellied elephant.  Theyd be smart like elephants, but small like pigs.  Crazy science, you say?  Impossible? 

I remind everyone that it has been successful already - today you will definately see a pot-bellied human.

Also - wouldnt it have been a great marketing move by Microsoft to put out a couple 360 games for fathers day?  Arent we the target market anyway?

I live in Claifornia.  In CA we have many non-english speaking individuals.  This sometimes becomes a problem when going to, say, a fast food restaurant.  Add to that communication problem a 2-way intercom that muffles everything you and the employee says at the drive-through, and you can see how I could get pissed off sometimes.
    "Can I get a a number 10 with a coke."
    "Number 2?"
    "no, teeeen."
    "we don hav that kind of drink"
    ":what?"
    "seventen-forty at the front window"
