Yessssss!!!!

Finally completed COD4 on veteran, including mile high club. Thank goodness for YouTube. Now I've got to go back through on normal and get a couple of achievements and it will be my first 1000/1000 gamerscore game.

Next goals: beat Ninja Gaiden Black before 2 comes out and beat Phantom Hourglass before NG: Dragon Sword comes out. And figure out a way to raise some cash so the wife doesn't kill me for buying two new games.

Wish me luck!

Frustration

Just a little bit on the flustered side this week in my gaming life. I've got 9 songs left on GH3 Hard, and they're really kicking my tail. We're talking under 25% at best. But my real block is COD4. I'm playing on veteran and getting so close to the end. I'm currently in no fighting in the war room, stuck between two hallways full of death. I have made quite a bit of progress though, as I was stuck running from the building in the sniper mission. Finally figured out you could just lob a couple of grenades and run to the checkpoint.

Guitar Hero III

Just borrowed Guitar Hero III from a buddy. He didn't have GH2 so I let him borrow my copy. Reminds me of the old days when I would trade NES games with neighbors. I played a relative's GH3 on the Wii over Christmas, and was able to 5-star pretty much everything on Medium the first time through. I'll probably start a career on hard and drop down if it gets too crazy. Looking forward to Co-op career with the wife. We'll be the most rockin' family on the block!

Google Apps

After reading an article on lifehacker, I decided to try out Google Apps For Your Domain. It's basically a really easy way to get a simple website up and running, but with gmail and other apps built in. So instead of yourname@gmail.com, you can have your own domain name. Definitely worth a yearly domain name registration if only for email.

I've used Google page creator, which I know has limitations, and this is what I've got so far:

Resolutions

Finally got a 360 of my own, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Call of Duty 4 campaign is a blast, although Veteran kicks my butt in some sections. Halo 3 is fun, but I haven't had a chance to play much multiplayer yet.

Hopefully I'll be able to schedule a little Xbox time every day, that's my half-hearted resolution. Probably won't happen, but I can try and use it as motivation to keep everything else in order.
