I got a chance to play several more games last night, and Halo 3 is growing on me. Two things contributed to this increase of favor.

1. I played with a couple of guys from work, which is always more fun than just going it alone, especially in Team Slayer. Add to that these guys are pretty good Halo 2 players, which means more winning. Not that winning is everything, but it's usually more fun.

Borrowed my brother's 360 to try out the Halo 3 beta. I've only played 10 or so games so far, and to be honest, it's not doing much for me yet. I understand that it's only a beta, but I don't know if I like the changes from Halo 2.

Well yesterday got off to a great start, until I got a call from the transmission shop about my wife's car. If any 2old2players would like a great deal on a car with some "small" (really big) transmission problems, drop me a PM. Today's pic is Halloween themed I guess. An absoultely beautiful day today. I raked some leaves and it wasn't even that bad since it was such a nice day. The baby was digging the nice day from her chair too. She kept a pretty close eye on me until she fell asleep. Today is also my dad's birthday, he's 50-something. Almost time to go into work, yes!

Another dreary day, bummer. The baby is a little sick, not fun for either of us. Supposed to warm up this weekend, that would be very nice. This pic is of the tree of life in Animal Kingdom.

About to go get a cheeseburger and fries from a local deli. They have batter dipped french fries, which are as unhealthy and delicious as they sound. They also bake their own rolls for the burgers, very nice. Cold and rainy today, fun times. Today is also 2 months until Christmas, truly unbelievable. Guess I should make a list, check it twice, not be naughty, ring some silver bells, go for a sleigh ride and drink some wassail.

Another beautiful fall day, how nice. Today is going to be less busy than my previous couple of days, which is nice. Now, if I can just be productive instead of completely lazy, that would be fantastic. Hopefully get some DC pics uploaded today to add a bit more variety to this uber-popular blog.

I'm setting up a small network for some folks and today might be the day it gets completed. They ran Cat5 cable through the house while they were building, but then the drywallers covered most of it when they were finishing the house. So the homeowner had to saw some holes in walls to try and find the cables. He's got them all out now, I've just got to put ends on them and connect everything. Wish me luck.
