With PAXEast coming up next week, I have been working hard to finish the restoration of my Multi-Williams cab to round out the arcade line-up in time for my annual Pre-PAXEast kick-off party, which will take place on Monday, April 2nd. Check out the video below and plan to join us if you are going to be in town a bit early. In addition to the games in the arcade, I have ribs, whole chicken and pork loins marinating to go on the grill. I also picked up a quarter keg of Blue Hills Brewery Black Hops, so we should have a good. time.

I know that I have been AWOL lately as I prepare for my upcoming wedding next month. However, I thought everyone might enjoy this footage from and arcade run that I did last Saturday in New Hampshire with about 20 fellow collectors from the New England Arcade Collectors Forum. OK, so it has been a loooong time since posted any gaming related material that wasn't about classic arcade cabs. Lately, with everything going on (my upcoming wedding, my Cooking in the Great Outdoors project and life in general) it has been difficult for me to get too excited about "modern gaming" with the requisite investment in time required for most games that have been released in the past six months.

Been pretty busy lately with CITGO, work and planning the wedding (not to mention interning at the brewery and looking forward to PAXEast). However, I wanted to share some cool new arcade swag that I picked up this week from a seller over on the KLOV forums.

After working on my new Bosconian cab a bit, I got the video looking sharp and the game running on the default Twin Galaxies setting. Check it out.

I recently learned that a member of the local New England Arcade Collector's Forum (NEACF), Scott Gaulin, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Scott is the type of guy that gives of himself and asks little in return. He is a long time volunteer for the American Classic Arcade Museum at Funspot in Weirs Beach, NH and has had a hand in helping to bring the ACAM arcade room to the first two PAXEast events.
