It's my turn to do the weekend shift here at the office for the website. I know that I could do this from my house and safe me the 40 miles of driving I do to get here and back. However, that means that I would have to deal with my family more and that's not something I want to do.
I'll probably put a few posts in this weekend since there isn't any football on except for the Pro Bowl today (WOO HOO). Hell, maybe I'll start posting the pointless jerk pics of women that everyone else seems to enjoy on here, but I digress.

Yesterday, I woke up with deep body pains that were accompanied by a very clogged nose. It was now obvious that I was sick with whatever my wife had the day before. I had two options: stay home and bask in the warm glow of the 360 or go to the office and get a little writing done. Guess which one I took?

Well, I'm certain everyone here was watching Super Bowl XLI last Sunday like me. It was a good game, but you got the feeling that the Colts were never going to lose that game with Rex Grossman under center for Chicago. Anyway, the real story for me was my wife who never gets sick was sick for the first time in forever. And like the good husband that I try to be, I decided to stay home and take care of her.

Well, yesterday was supposed to me my day off before heading into the office for the rest of the week. That is easier said than done for some and I'm no different.
My wife and I own a house that we were renting to a nice Argentinian couple, but they fell on hard times and eventually left the country without paying their final months payment. What's more is they destroyed our entire upstairs carpeting. It was so bad that we decided to pull it out and put in that laminate flooring. Unfortunately for me, my wife is cheap and we ended up putting the flooring in ourselves.
