I realized yesterday I REALLY wanted to have a beer.  Not for the wrong reasons, not to drown some sorrows.  Just wanted a beer.  My problem is that I can't just enjoy one beer.  I have to knock out a case before my sytem shuts down.  So I don't drink anymore.  Then I realized that I have been sober for six months on Tuesday.  Pretty cool.  So I had a Coke in celebration.  Maybe tonight I'll get some NA beer, because I miss the taste.  Something about a beer on a Friday afternoon just puts the world into the proper light.  Have to get my rose colored glasses.

She left on Friday. Rented a Cadillac and drove her and the dog out to Phoenix. She told me she loves me. She reiterates it every time I talk to her. I wish she would prove it.

She leaves Thursday for Texas.  She told the boy and he is crying in his room trying to go to sleep.  I want to take all his pain away.

I wish I could.  Nobody wants to hear that from their child.  She's not leaving for good, but she doesn't know if she'll be back to live with us.

I jacked up the post about E For All, mislabeling it as E for Everyone. I realized I botched the call and threw the lead to Tank for him daily gaming news breakdown, one of my favorite blogs. Then he goes on a business trip and nobody gets the news. Dagnabbit! Stupid real life getting in the way of exciting gaming news!

Then he goes on a business trip and nobody gets the news. Dagnabbit! Stupid real life getting in the way of exciting gaming news!

He turns 11 tomorrow.  I'm feeling really strange- I don't like that 10+ years have gone by and it feels like yesterday when I was freaking out about how small he was.  He was 6 weeks preemie and weighed in at 4lbs 5oz.  He was never on a respirator, and only took a week or so to get the suckle reflex going.  He's been a trooper since birth.  Now he's 11 and the best thing that ever happened to me.  He lives with me, shares game addiction with me, and has an awesome sense of humor.
