God - this may be the most domsitcated blog post I've ever written.

So, we've ordered our replacement laminate flooring and carpet. We went out on Saturday to scout out some stuff we like the look of and that seemed to fit the budget the soul-sucking demon spawn insurance company gave us. Having found that, we measured the house and out together a quick estimate ourselves, that looked good.

Guh. Things are rolling along, getting money from our insurance company. We've had our flooring and carpet replacement price through, and it seems reasonable enough - laminate flooring for the living room and kitchen, and carpet for the hall, stairs and landing - we considered putting carpet down in the living room instead, but I pointed out that we barely hoovered the living room enough when it was just laminate, never mind carpet, so we squelched that idea.

Clearly, I have lost the plot - having booked an appointment to get my verruca seen to, I then mixed up the date and booked the wrong day off! Fortunately, my boss is understanding, and he let me switch days around, so I'm in the office today, and off tomorrow.

Very occasionally, I post on the WoW Community on Live Journal - nto very often, as they're not the friendliest of folk, but I thought I'd share something I posted there just recently, and get your opinion. I'm not sure how many of you play WoW, so it may not be appropriate, but you can always take a stab anyway.

Is it ever acceptable to leave a PUG before it's fully-formed, in favour of joining another which is only missing the class you play?

I made sure all of the taps were turned off in the house early on in the morning and sat down with World of Warcraft to get Mhorag, my Draenei Warrior, to level 70.
