I always said that as soon as it appeared that I was going to loose alot of hair I would just cut if off.

I chickened out a few years ago and instead went for the really short but still present look, where you shave it down with the smallest attachment for the buzzclippers.

It was really great, I could have my wife do it every couple of weeks for me and I wouldn't have to go spend money at the barber to get it done..win friggin win.
