Art Auction: Are Ya'll Letting me walk away with this?

Guys, I am in first place for a BatmanKM custom piece of artwork for a steal, and there is tons of great stuff just waiting for your bids! Take a look: buy yourself something cool and support 202p!

I have one idea for a Christmas gift for my man, and Guardian gave me THE best idea: but it isn't going to work out. So there is light at the end of the tunnel.

JayCat's GotY

Game of the Year! I love this sort of stuff, let's take all the games that we love so much and try to pitch one of them as the best overall. But how to measure the GotY? Games are subjective, what is love at first sight for one person is complete mung for another. You have to look, not at your own enjoyment of the game, but is the game important, is it noteworthy for some reason. If I look at GotY in that light, I have to give my own personal, first annual JayCat award, the Golden Kitty to: Fable 2.

Dear On-Line Stores

All I ask is that if you have a product prominantly displayed on your front page, that you have it in stock.

That is all.

What else? My car got smashed up. That is nice. I was out at dinner with the ladies and some guy was trying to parallel park his car, lost control and SMASH! Whole driver's side corner is smashed in. The guy is an angel though: stuck around, called the cops... so really... who cares? No big deal. Accidents happen. whatever. No one was hurt and my insurance pays for a rental.

yikes... bit brother is watching...

From a general message from work:

Due to the labour dispute at OC Transpo, a number of employees are using the general e-mail to either seek a ride to work or to offer one.

You are reminded that the e-mail system is for work-related messages only and should not be used for any other purpose.

Makes me roll my eyes. people more concerned with not sending "personal" e-mails that will help people get into work in the morning. sigh...  Better get off of 2o2p before "the man" takes exception....

XBL Customer support: so far so good

Well... this is gonna sounds STOOPID but I DL'd stuff... can't find it. It's a theme (yes, a waste of $$$ but it's my man's $$$, so who cares?). Checked all the usual suspect: it says I DL'd it, it's not in the active DL and it's not in my theme list.

Got some nice guy on the phone, very professional... it's sort of funny: you can tell that they are trained up the whoo-ha on how to be a good phone customer service person. "If I am understanding you correctly..." "Can I call you Marcie?" stuff like that.

Well, I jsut had to go into my DL history and re-DL the theme. kewl!
