1 hour puke free...

Erica has some kind of bug... puking often. Still seems happy. No fever. Wish us luck overnight.

Do I seem hotter to you?

More powerful?  Of course I do! That's cause I went to my first intro to Hot power Yoga class last night. Loved it. For the uninitiated, hot power yoga is a type of yoga where you are in a room that is 90 degrees. No humidity though. And well, then you do yoga. now I understand on this site that is mostly inhabited by a bunch of Guy's guys" this may seem like a stupid, hippie BS type of exercise, but it can be pretty intense. The power part of hot power yoga means it's more into strength training than stretching.

Who let the dogs out?!

Jay Jay Jay-CAT!

Finally I had an artillery strike and I got to call in the dogs! How is this possible considering I am usually dying every minute or so?  I was playing with (gasp) Timmy. I was waiting for Friday Shot Night to get underway and decided to go into a TDM all by my lonesome. Let's say I do better when everyone is at the same level as me!  But the fun really started once Lee and Lux got their ass in gear and got on line. We pulled together a bunch of guys from 2old2remember and 2old4BS and had a blast.

so when I game all the time, it's an addiction...

but when it's running, it's a-okay.

My BF has been big into running for well over a year now. I'm really proud of her, she has cut her time, lost weight, competed in various races and stuck with it through the dark, cold Ottawa winter. But that is what has got me; she went out running all week.  Please note the blog below: it's minus 30, the windchill makes it feel minus 40. Ottawa paramedics are asking people to not go out, but if they have to, bundle up.  So when does running constitute a "have to go out" type of activity?

Car Problems? Well it IS -27...

Plus a windchill makes it feel like it's -39. Even in celcius that is cold, my friends. So cold that the engine light came on. Now, I hope it's just the cold: the car was just in the auto body shop and I got it back yesterday.  Someone smashie-smashied my parked car and took out part of the driver's front bumper of my car. Almost $6000 worth of damage: ouch. Now insurance covered it all, and I got great service from everybody (note: use Enterprise renta  car: they pick you up!) and they do check for damage to the innard of the vechicle.

Why do you play with the clan that you do?

My own wo derful 2old4 BS is currently recruiting.  Lux did a great job of crystalizing what 2old4BS is about: laid back, bit un-PC, but we don't like assholes either (we've had more than enough of our share),  But in a recruiting drive, it's always a gamble: pick a jerk, and you upset the chemistry of the group. Actually, it doesn't even have to be a jerk: just someone who doesn't fit in. It's a relationship. The clan member must click with the clan, and the clan must click with the member.
