I've been away for a while. During that time I've upgraded to the latest FireFox and added a few security add ons. Now when I try to sign into the site i get this:
Warning: your browser doesn't send the HTTP_REFERER header to the website.
This can be caused due to your browser, using a proxy server or your firewall.
Please change browser or turn off the use of a proxy
or turn off the 'Deny servers to trace web browsing' in your firewall
and you shouldn't have problems when sending a POST on this website.

I'm not trying to get political again, I just thought that this was funny. This goes for anyone - in any party - anywhere: Do just a tiny bit of research, and don't embelish stories that can very easily be validated. It makes you look silly.

I stumbled accross this article the other day. It's a history of the microsoft xbox 360 debacle with quotes from engineers and designers and an inside look at the terrible yield numbers during production. Its about 6 pages but I found it to be an interesting read. Despite not really giving a crap about the end user I think that Microsoft got off pretty easy.

This is the result of a 2 minute interview on ABC last night.
Charlie Gibson of ABC asked McCain if he could look Americans in the eye and tell them with all certainty that Sarah Palin was qualified and experienced enough to be president in the event of McCain’s death or injury.
The audacity and cavalier attitude in which he answered the question was repulsive; he answered with a sneer. Almost as if the question were to trivial to be considered
