will it blend?

Every now and again someone comes up with a nifty viral ad campaign.  Actually, its not really so rare anymore.  If you have a major brand and you haven't rolled out somesort of hip  grassroots campaign then you're really behind the curve.  Northing says "grassroots, for the people and by the people, low budget" like a multi million dollar agency designed low budget "appearing" bit that gets picked up by the national media and run for free as a kickback for paid airtime.

I digress.....

Back

I'm back from Boston.  It was a suprisingly fun vacation that went by unsurprisingly quickly.  Trying to squeeze in time with both sides of the family and fit everything into a week is always an adventure.  I did get to go golfing with my dad which was nice.  I shot a fairly honest 51 for 9 holes, which is pretty good for me since I've golfed 5 times in my life.  And I did end up down by the Charles to watch the fireworks.  Since the weather was nice there were more people than usual which only added to the insanity of the sprint to the train immediately afterwards (= you pick up your feet

M & M's are from Mars, I can see the cowboy's penis

I have just recently become aware of the Naked Cowboy in Times Square. This guy is borderline nut job, but he does a great interview. He's quick on his feet and has a nice straitman delivery of crazy quirky lines. And to top off my sad little life; he claims to make about $250,000 a year in tips.

Today Show Interview From This Morning- just look for the cowboy clip on the left side of the page.  I don't know why I can't embed vid that's not on youtube, sorry.

Um, awkward

I was reading the Erie paper today and stumbled upon an interesting bit in the city & region section.  Apparently, a couple was out at a bar and ended up getting drunk and inviting a few people back to their house.  Well one thing leads to another and the girlfriend kicks everyone, including the boyfriend, out.  She wakes up later to find someone having sex with her.  She assumes it's her boyfriend and goes along with it.  Well, later on she mentions it to her boyfriend who informs her that he wasn't there that night......awkward silence.........

Sixth Human Foot Found On The Beach

A number of weeks ago I posted about a beach in Canada that had feet washing ashore.  In case any of you are keeping count, they've had another 2 feet wash up within the last week.  That brings the total to 6.  Interestingly 5 of those are right feet.  Apparently, tides and other oceanic conditions affect left and right feet differently.  So, to the experts, it makes perfect sense.  What is still perplexing everyone is the obvious question:  "Where the crap are all these feet coming from?"
