So things are starting to pick up for me around here.  Whilst I'm thinking about it, if any of you will be in the Erie area on Sept. 26-28th let me know.  We're having our wine festival and I can provide you tickets and possible even some tokens for the good stuff.  We have some damn good bands lined up too, just FYI.

So today is my birthday.  The big, useless 27. 

I woke up at 5am to my wife crying.  She thought that she was pregnant, however she just started her period in the middle of the night, so obviously not.  At least we hope not, or that's even worse news.  She's quite vested in having another child and gets into it quite a bit.  You know, shopping for maternity clothes online and all that jazz.   A great start to the day.

Well, my 2 year contract with Verizon is up in a few days. Delighted by the chance to go shopping for a new phone I eagerly began reading reviews and doing my research. I compared operating systems and bluetooth and all that fun crap. I finally decided that wanted a blackberry curve. After all is said and done it would cost me $50, not too bad right? I don't need a data plan right now although it would be nice, so I just want the phone for now. I figure when I get a better job or come into some money I can justify another $360 a year to the phone company.
