Right Place at the Right Time

I started my holiday weekend early when a friend invited me to a Sox game last Thursday. I'm a Cub fan, but hell free tickets to a baseball game on a beautiful day were too hard to pass up. So while relaxing, watching the Sox getting raped 20 to 1 in the sun drinking beer my friend turns to me and says, "Hey, you wouldn't be interested in seeing Nine Inch Nails next week would you?" Duh........Absolutely!

62 x 80

It's not the size of my TV or any other appendage, it's a current quest that a guy in the U.K. has embarked on. His goal is to create 62 World of Warcraft characters and level them to 80 by Christmas. This would give him one toon of every class and race. The guy goes by the name Eljeppy and is on medical leave living on the Isle of Wight in the U.K. with his wife and three children. I won't attempt to go into how he plans to do it or what he's using, rather if you have any interest you can check out his blog http://tengnomes.blogspot.com/.

Short and Sweet

I came across this during my Morning trolling and thought I would share the link.

I found it to be incredibly accurate.

Olympics, Politics and Racks

I've been very busy the past few weeks. Chicago's in the running for the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games and the begining of the month the International Olympic Committee came to town to tour. There was no hope in getting them out to my small Village, however our Village President managed to sway the 2016 committee to add us to a list of tours that were available to the large contingent of press that was in town following the event.

Baby Got Gifts

So /cheer I think I've finally solved my PC issues with the simple replacement of a video card NOT made by NVIDIA. I was trying to come to grips with not being able to play a game that I've spent so much time on for the past 2.5 years and I thought, what the hell try a different brand of card since all the comments I read about this issue usually involved and NIVIDIA card. Went to Best Buy, grabbed a simple AMD Radeon card and brought it back home.
