I'm about to throw my PC out the fucking window.  For 2 weeks now I've been having an issue where my PC screen will turn black, system locks up and I have to restart.  No rhyme or reason for this and I've tried a ton of things but now am going in to try more.  I have a tech coming out tomorrow to wipe everything on the hard drive and install me in windows XP vs.

The weather's finally starting to warm up and yesterday here in Chicago we saw our first 70+ degree day of the year. Yummy. Now we'll suffer through the 40ish type weather with sprinkles of 50-60's and 30's and under for the next month or two before we can get some consistency. After any winter, as soon as it hit's in the 40's people are breaking out their shorts, bikes and getting ready to summer it up and in contrast once it hits the 40's in September/October we're getting out our winter coats and gloves.

Yesterday was a suit day. I had to go downtown for a big annual meeting of the company I used to work for. That mean breaking out one of my suits that don't quite fit me anymore, throwing on a tie and hobknobing with people I haven't seen in quite some time. I miss wearing suits, I've become quite lazy being in the suburbs and not having that requirement as I once did. It makes me feel a tad more professional and I look pretty good in them.

I stumbled upon this video for the new WOW mouse on you tube yesterday.  The guy spends 9 minutes talking about the mouse, taking it out, hooking it up and showing you the features.  It actually looks kind of neat and it retails for anywhere from $77 to $99 from a quick scan of the websites.  Supposedly from the youtube video, these are available through Best Buy so I'll have to go check it out.  I just bought yet another mouse the other month after a s

I had somewhat of an extended weekend with my friend Lisa crashing at my place Thursday and Friday night. We went to see the Watchmen on Friday. Now, I knew nothing about the Watchmen and saw the clip for this film a month or so ago after it was suggested by someone in guild chat that it was a good one to see. I hardly ever see movies in theaters anymore and I can likely count on one hand the number I've seen in the past 2 years in a theatre, so this was kinda neat to get out for once.
