I'm not online as much as I used to be.  Eh, it's the working out, and wedding planning, and blu ray.

Since I acquired $40 in free AMC movie tickets, this weekend we went to Wolverine and Star Trek.  Embracing my inner geekdom,  Wolverine was an excellent movie, even if the miracle movie magic couldn't bring back a few years on Hugh's face.  One could only pray that they have his physique at 40+!   A great movie, explaining the origins for non fanboy's and fan's alike.

Did someone come in the middle of night and stomp the yard with me? 

Did someone use my body as dead cow carcass and pretend to be Rocky?

P90x.  Pylometrics.  I have never hurt as much as I hurt today.  Oh sweet Ibuprofen...sweet pain nectar...be my calgon and take my ass away!!!

Every moment I want to quit, I think of my before picture.  I remember doing my "breathing cat" pose and staring at the mysterious ball of flesh swaying from what is supposed to be a stomach...and I carry on.

Tony is a bitch.  My fingers move numbly over the keys as I feel mountainous twitching from muscles I didn't know exsisted.  We've (I think) all seen the commercials for the P90X workout system.

I finished my BLS CPR yesterday.  I think everything was going well until we hit infant 2 rescuer CPR...

The 2nd rescuers must grip the infant from the foot, wrapping the hands around the chest and placing the thumbs on the sternum/chest bone.

I quoted, "This is EASY!  Just like holding my controller!"

...thank ye GODS for Paramedics with a sense of humor...the classmates/nurses not so much. :)

SO the Center for Disease Control is patroling the hospitals now...some facilities are requiring the staff to "clear" themselves before they can even leave the campus.  We are required to wear respirators even when entering the Emergency Room.
