The Swine Flu.

SO the Center for Disease Control is patroling the hospitals now...some facilities are requiring the staff to "clear" themselves before they can even leave the campus.  We are required to wear respirators even when entering the Emergency Room.

And all I could think of...in my greatest geekdom of all...

I won't bring up the ganja debate.  I don't smoke the medically legal herb from California, but I do believe it should be legalized.  But enough on THAT hot topic!

I do however, smoke tobacco.

Need not the limitless indictions of how harmful it is, I understand.  This is my opinion of the right to smoke tobacco.

17 and 24.  The ages of my little brothers.  My PS3 owning little douche canoes. 

SO. I treat myself every year to something FABULOUS.  A big time shopping spree.  An all day spa trip.

This year, a PS3.

The boys are already on my friend's list, and we have all challenged each other to a round or two at COD4. 

I picked up Little Big Planet and Killzone 2.  LOVING LBP.  So freaking funny.  I'll be playing this for sometime.

Tight with a Per Diem at work.  She's  one of the deadly 5.  5 people employed in the entire hospital that I do trust.  The new hire was hired long before I voiced my want of that shift.  Why?  He was about to be fired from Desert Ridge MRI.

I was outsourced.

Our Per Diem MRI Technologist, full time at Desert Ridge, was given the night shift position.  The 41 yr old man has 13 yrs experience, a bachelor's degree, CT and MRI certification.  He has not touched a CT scanner in 3 years, nor ever used Siemens.  We use a 64 and 128 slice Siemens.

So.  He's more qualified than 7 years Radiology, 5 dedicated CT, professionally trained in Cardiac and Siemens, hired 8/2007 full time Coulow.

I finally received some info back from the Director.  He emailed saying either Thursday or Friday is good.  Right.  Too late.

It was 9am.  I headed off to Human Resources.  I met with the Labor Director.  I told him everything.  The statement made, how I applied 3x's.  The verbal warning.  I dropped names, I glorified my Director as a Saint and remarked..."I feel I'm being sabotaged" and that the Supervisor had been avoiding me until the verbal warning arose.
