 So I've been a Gamefly member for a couple of months now. I joined because I wanted to start reviewing games but didn't have the cash to shell out for new--or even used--copies of everything.

My first Gamefly experience was fantastic. As soon as I signed up, the first two games in my queue were out the door to me. One was even a new release: Red Faction-Guerrilla. I was impressed. When I sent both games back, they were returned without incident, and I was promptly notified that my next game was on the way.

 A good friend of mine (who also may be my archnemesis...) told me today that he only trusts gaming news that comes straight from the developers themselves. There are a couple exceptions to this rule, including Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb, who he deems the most qualified and ethical gaming journalists out there today.

I, of course, disagree. My gaming news comes from a variety of sources, including the developers themselves. But I also rely on sites whose job it is to deliver that information, such as Kotaku, Destructoid, IGN, and Joystiq.
