A clan member's lovely wife (Williamesq's Brenda) knew how smitten I am with LBP Sackboy. So, being a very nice person, she hand-knitted a wonderful present for me! I'd like to introduce to you Bernard:

As a few of you know, I was trying to platinum God of War. For me, this was the most anticipated game of 2010, and I wasn’t disappointed.

The music in God of War is one of its strong points. I love the barbaric music they play in the Challenge of the Gods mode. It just brings out the "Inner Warrior" in me, as I beat the inner crap out of them.

There goes more of my retirement.

Since I don't have a camcorder at this time and I am busting with excitement. I came home to find this waitng for me!

This is my unboxing of SSF IV Fightstick.

No sore arm and thumb using the PS3 controller anymore. I have a SSF Stick ! ! !

There it is! It's beautiful. It's big. It's really built well. I can't wait to try it out!

My Xbox Live account is purging people off my friends list without the courtesy of asking my permission. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. With one member, we get automatically taken off each other's list no matter how many times we friend each other. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm trying to figure out who was deleted. I contacted M$ and they're looking into it.

Till then, just know I didn't delete anyone off my Xbox Live friends list. Xbox did it all by itself!

"Throwdown with Bobby Flay" is one of my fave shows. That show gets me into the kitchen whipin' up food faster than you can say, "Yum!"

I've watched that blueberry pancake Throwdown a few times over. I just had to make those Bobby Flay pancakes. I'm not a fan of fluffy pancakes. I love crepes. I make crepes every chance I get -- savory or sweet, it doesn't matter. I'm thinking of purchacing a real crepe pan to make them like they do in Brittany, France. Those Bobby Flay fluffy pancakes were calling to me! So, I made them.

By the way, I need to set the record stright. That is not me dancing in the video in my previous blog. It was just a representation of how I was feeling at the time. I wish I could dance that well. I've been trying to do her moves, but I end up looking like Beavis when I dance. Remember ol' Beavis and how he used to dance with Butthead? Although, I do profess to a mean MC Hammer, Running Man and those other cool 80s moves as well.

OK, now to get down to biznass (winks at Biz).

I took a day off work to game this sweet thing. I have no doubts it will consume my every sense. I lust for the kills and desire its brutality. The big question: Will I be able to Platinum this game? Answer: I'm going to kill my way to the top, talking down any AI idiot obtuse enough to get in my way. Unlike Uncharted II, this will be a challenging game to Plat. A PS3 Platinum is not an easy thing to obtain. Its hard work, I'll have to make time that's required to get a Plat. My job has me working long hours, but I've accumulated a ton of vacation time.

My trip to Chicago-right before Christmas-was a much needed time away. It had been a long stressful 2009, and this trip was so much fun that I realized I need to pamper myself more often. It really recharged me. I felt like a different person.

Chicago is a wonderful city. We stayed at the Omni on the "Magnificent Mile" and can't say enough good things about this hotel. Got a great deal on the room, boy it pays to look on the net. We had so much fun in Chicago that we stayed two extra nights.

It's cold Outside!

My car was really dirty. So, off to the car wash. Got home with my clean car, went to open my car door and the darn thing was frozen shut. I crawled over the consol to the other side, but Frosty had worked his magic there as well. I had to turn the heat on full blast for five minutes before it would open. Lesson learned, keep car dirty till spring.
