I've been thinking about the whole daddy situation for a while now.  The question I've been asking myself is, "Do I really need to meet my father?"  After really thinking about it I think that I really don't.  First of all my father knew about me and to my knowledge didn't try to see me.  My mother didn't take care of my at all so I was sent to live in an orphanage when I was a baby.  That would have been his opportunity to step in bu t he didn't.  So my parents made their choices.  They both decided not to take care of me.

At my count I have gotten through half of them so far.  Here is my progress:

Completed

* Made a new friend (actually more than one)

* Came out to my family (did that this morning)

* Tried 12 new things (too many to list here but definitely more than 12)

I thought a lot last night about who my father is.  I wondered if I could go through the rest of my life not knowing who he is.  I wondered if I could forgive my mother for keeping such a secret from me. I thought about right until that Ambien finally kicked in, then I fell asleep.  Thank goodness for sleeping pills or I might not ever go to bed.

Isn't it funny how life works sometimes?  Here I was so worried about telling my mom that I'm a lesbian and I find out she's been lying to me my entire life.  I'm tired of lies.  I'm telling my mother tomorrow.
