For a long time I've been a fan of Bungie's shooter series Halo. I stood in line for the midnight launch of Halo 2. Took part in many Halo based LAN parties.

But for some reason tonight when I put the Halo 3 disc in my 360...and fired up Forge to start a new map....I found myself asking....why? For what purpose? I wasn't having fun with the game.

For a while now I haven't really played Halo with anyone. Maybe a bit of co-op campaign. But no MP. I guess I'm just catching up with the majority of my friends list that has lost interest in Halo for a while now.

It seems that every year, this time of year...I get sick. Thankfully it usually only happens once a year. But it puts me out of work for a couple of days and I cant afford that.

Since last Wednesday I've been really sick with a bad tonsil infection and a case of strep throat. The infection moved to my ears and my chest...so my ears have been so plugged I haven't been able to hear much, and I've been coughing up green chunks of nasty.

It seems that every year, this time of year...I get sick. Thankfully it usually only happens once a year. But it puts me out of work for a couple of days and I cant afford that.

The past week or so I've either gotten a bad headache, or just overall felt like I got the hell beat out of me. It's getting old really fast.
Last night I was sore so I took a really hot shower and that actually helped. Then this morning when I woke up I felt like I had the flu or something...coughing up all kinds of colored gooey-ness.

I hate feeling crappy all the time.

There was a quick "aww crap..." and then thats about the extent of it.

I guess over this past week after getting so many bad stress headaches and a migraine that dropped me like a bitch, I finally learned to just chill out and go with the flow. Shits gonna happen, and you can't think straight when you are stressing.

He's a good guy, and sorta stuck where he is right now and hates it. Right now he's in Kentucky I believe, living in a studio apartment and actually managing to hold down a job and keep his bills paid. Thats a first for him on several fronts.
