I have been wanting an AR for many years now.  I really don't need one.  I just like shooting them.  They are fun to shoot.  With the upcoming election, there is that possibility that I might not be able to go purchase one any time I want to in the very near future.  Here is my problem, I have the money to buy one but it would be stretching things  little bit.  Ammo is outrageous right now so I really can't afford to shoot it like I would like.  The one positive thing is I would be able to turn a bit of a profit if I ever decide I need the money.  I need to make up my mind before the electi

Saturday I went and took my ccw class or gun carry permit class. It was from 8 in the morning until 6:15. Class was infomative even for somebody who has shot all their life. the only part of the day I didn't like was actually shooting. I got stuck between two women who had never touched a gun before. Sorry but this isn't the place to learn. You should know how to shoot before you get a permit. The lady to my left unpacked her gun for the first time since buying it at the range. The first distance we shot from was two yards.

On Saturday I will be taking a class that will allow me to carry a gun.  Does this make me a gun nut?  Probably won't even carry.  Will stick one in the car when we travel.  What are your thoughts on people who carry guns?  Anybody else out there have there permit?  Discuss.

I went down last night and decided to play a little Tiger Woods 09.  I stick the disc in and it says there is an update.  It updates and comes back on and says that the disc is unreadable and I need to clean the disc or restart the system.  I pull the disc out and check it out.  The thing is spotless.  I am very anal about these things I am telling you, it is perfect.  I reboot the system and same thing happens.  I stick in two other games and they all need an update (odd) but after the update, they work fine.  Stick Tiger Woods in and unreadable.  The thing is spotless.  There isn't a fing

I finally got to shoot my new Glock last night. I love my new .40. I took a friend to the range with me last night that just got into shooting. He is wanting to get a gun and doesn't really know what he wants to get. After shooting the Glock, he is ready to go buy. I also took a few .22s along and he liked shooting them but he wants a Glock now. I am going to keep trying to talk him into a .22. They are just so much more economical to shoot. 500 rounds of .22 costs about the same as 50 rounds of .40.
